Blazing Minds (92 KP) rated Antrum: The Deadliest Film Ever Made (2018) in Movies
Oct 29, 2021 (Updated Nov 3, 2021)
So the story goes that Antrum was believed to have been lost and a sole copy of the film was tracked down and packaged for public release.
The film opens with a short 10-minute documentary which examines the dark history of the film, after which you are given the opportunity to watch the original version of this cursed film at their own risk!

Oct 29, 2021 (Updated Nov 2, 2021)
The potential of making this a pretty shocking and gory movie is lost as it seems toned down and I have to say that I did find myself getting a little bored while watching the group of six trying to solve the puzzles to escape, thankfully the short running time of 1h 28mins is spot on, any longer and I might have left the screening!

Thought I would do my review before I see episode 9 tomorrow being the last episode.anyway the show it'd rather good show syvester stallone is rather good in the main role and the fact its tv show and not a movie. And from the makers of yellowstone there's plenty to like the runtime could be abit longer than 38 min runtime

This is a collection of four stories although the first one is my favourite. As always with short stories, there is a lot of information given and things happen very quickly but still this is a good collection! If you like dragons and fantasy/paranormal reads then I recommend this one.

so bloody short!
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I purchased my copy of this book.
SHORT!!! SO bloody short!
I did know that going in, that it was only some 70 odd pages, but those pages got eaten up so quickly, I blinked and the whole book was finished!
Not the story, just THIS part of it.
Meik is, by his own words, bored. Bored of his day to day life; of the endless supply of secretaries (both male and female) willing to get down on their knees under his desk for the chance of a pay rise. Wandering the streets, a few guitar notes pull him in, and Meik is obsessed with Sebastian. It really is the only word that fits!!
After a blow job in the alley, Meik wants more of Sebastian, but he can't find him, and the longer Meik can't find him, the more he MUST find him.
I'm gonna be incredibly frustrated with these books, I know I am. Here's why: if they keep coming in these short bursts, I'm gonna be so bloody impatient waiting for the next one, and I don't do patience when it comes to my books!
I loved this, it pushes all my buttons and then some. It's super sexy and super hot!
BUT!!!
It does only come from Meik's point of view and this is the ONLY reason I can't quite stretch to 5 full stars: single person point of view. Because of COURSE I wanted to hear from Sebastian! I need to know what was going through his head in the alley, and later, when Meik takes him home. I NEEDED to hear that, and I don't.
At this moment, this is NOT a romance. This is simply about Meik first obsessing over, and then possessing, Sebastian. Whether that will change, I have no idea, I really don't care, to be honest. Meik is nothing if not honest about what, or rather, WHO he wants. But I have a feeling he might surprise us, maybe even himself.
Can't wait to see what these two get up to!
SO, because only Meik has a say, and even though its so bloody short...
4.5 stars (rounded up to 5 for the blog)

A little glib, better as a young adult novel
Matt Haig's novel, soon to be a motion picture with Benedict Cumberbatch, has had rave reviews, yet I feel I'm in the minority in saying it fell short of expectations.
Following Tom Hazard, an unusual protagonist with a rare condition which has made him live for centuries, has been searching for his daughter ever since he was forced to leave her. Describing major events in history, Hazard continues to change his identity in order to survive becoming a history teacher as his current persona. All the while being controlled by the mysterious Hendricks. Is it better to live for a short while with love, or for eternity alone?
While the story is imaginative, the characters are underdeveloped and the constant time change is inconsistent. The plot may be a little too juvenile for me, not really to my taste. Enjoy the film.

Fantastic taster of Aryan's writing and world
*** I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review ***
This novella serves as an excellent taster of Stephen Aryan's writing style and the world in which his other books take place. I haven't read any of his other work yet, but as this is a prequel I didn't feel I was missing out on any inside knowledge. If anything, this book serves as an expanded backstory to one of the main characters of the first series, Vargus.
I really enjoyed the entry into the world, Aryan's easy-flowing narrative and the short, concise self-contained story which contains some good, well described action scenes, good dialogue and hints at a larger world to be explored and does lead you to want to read more.

If you are running out of zombie apocalyps options, watch this
I love an apocalyptic film or tv series, I love a good zombie one best. After the The Walking Dead, not much lives up to expectations, falling far short of what I now expect and want in a zombie apocalypse.
Z-nation doesn't fall short. It even adds a new take, humour. I like the way they have merged the zombie horror, end of the world scenario with humour. It's not a heavy sprikling of jokes either, it's interweaved into the whole story line. That way you can still have the drama of the apocalypse without the humour making it less real, less able for you to be drawn into.
This is for all The Walking Dead fans that are looking to fill the mid season gap and gaps between seasons. You won't be dissapointed.
