A Wolf's Love: A Paranormal Romance Short Read (Flame #5.5) by Caris Roane
A Wolf's Love is a short story addition to the Flame series. Cole and Lauren were together, until Lauren did something that Cole couldn't accept, and he called it off. However, when a teenager is kidnapped, Cole is the one that Lauren turns to, even though he refuses to help (at first). What follows is the two of them putting another's needs before their own, and working together to save her.

As with all Caris Roane's books, this is very well-written. It may only be a short story, but a full story is here. Nothing has been skimped on, instead you can settle in for a very good read. Personally, I would recommend that you start at book one, just to get the full enjoyment of the world of the Flame, but it isn't fully necessary. You 'could' read them in any order and as a standalone, but I do feel that you would miss something out of this well-developed world. With no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt my reading flow, I can highly recommend this short story.

this is a fantastic short story, I just couldn't put this book down and read it in one sitting. The characters are fantastic. This is a dark read, which left me wanting more and more. This is a sexy emotional read which will leave you speak less. This book will grip you from the first page, sucking you in till the very last page. I cant wait to read from this author, I absolutely love this author.

this is a very short read and I only wish it would have been longer. This is a second chance love story. This is the second book in the series. The more I read from this author they better they get. I absolutely loved the character, I fell in love with them from the first page. I read this book in one sitting and was definitely left wanting more. I cant wait to read more from this author in the future.

this is the first book by this author that I've read and the first in the series. this is a short read that definitely left me wanting more. I read this book in one night, I couldn't put it down. the ending contains a cliff hanger so make sure you have book two at the ready. the characters are fab and the banter between them has many funny parts. this book has some hot steamy scenes which set the pages alight. I cant wait to read the next book.

Had me laughing out loud (0 more)
Hilarious and heartbreaking
This book was a very easy read but carried a very serious and heavy message. As a new Mum, I don't manage to stay awake very long to read now so the short diary entries made this perfect for me.
It had me laugh out loud next to a partner who doesn't read at all and couldn't understand why I was laughing. By the end of the book, I did shed a tear.
This book carries a message that everyone in this country who accesses the NHS should read.

Short and sweet
My standards were high for this book, everyone refers to it as a 'must read', in a sense it could be, for some people. If you are a bit lost in life, feel like you've hit a wall in your career or life and need a bit of inspiration to carry on and achieve your dreams then this is the book for you.
Don't get me wrong, it did make me smile and it is a beautiful book to read, but it's very short and very simple. The main character is referred to as the boy so you can't really build a relationship with the character, but then I guess that is the moral of the book and the lesson we should take from it.
For me, this book hasn't changed my life, but I feel pretty happy with my life right now so maybe I read it at the wrong time. If I ever become stuck in life and need a lift I will reread this as I feel it could be much more appreciated in times of need

Literally the worst. They could have made this movie so good based on all the creepy pasta stories I've read and the short horror stories online. But no, they chose a typical horror movie route that backfired and created a nightmare. And not the good kind.
