I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and had my wish granted to read it by White Lion Publishing.

I really enjoyed this book. It's really short considering how much information is in it which is pretty impressive!

I really enjoyed the illustrations.

Honestly, though? What i enjoyed most was being introduced to filmmakers I'd never heard of before.

I like to read a short story--or three--whenever I'm struggling to get into my longer ones, which is my current problem, as I feel they help.

This was a sweet story, but I also felt like it didn't really have enough relationship progression in it. I would have loved to see more of them together. Other than that, I liked it.

On a whim and a hope, Evie signs up to learn how to train dogs, but the school she's going to is anything but a normal kennel. Maybe that's for the best, because nothing has been normal in Evie's short life so far. I was quite surprised by this book, as while purchasing I was sure this will be an exact story from the tv show, but since I'm a fan it didn't bother me much. I must admit it is well written short story, that has a very vivid story line and the absorbing action. Overall I find it nice and easy to read.

The problem with quick reads for me is they are just not enough! I wanted more depth and i wanted to know if there was an even happier ending! I don't think quick reads are for me, there's too much left to be explored but I liked it for what it was. It was cute short and snappy read, which made me giggle.

Great YA Dystopian Read (0 more)
YA cliches (0 more)
This book is a great read for a younger audience looking for a good YA series to sink your teeth into. Although there are many YA tropes and cliches, the premise of the book is interesting enough for this stereotypes to be overlooked.

The story is short so it won't take particularly long to read. I, being a slow reader, read the book is six hours.

As I said, the concept of the book is interesting, inviting you to question opinions on morality and immortality. The book does contain mild abuse because of the dystopian elements in the book however they are not graphic in detail.

I loved reading this book when I was younger and I am still enjoying rereading as an adult.

The Hookup is a short story with Grant and Easton. Grant needs some time to play as he has his concerns and worries dragging him down. Easton sees a gorgeous man in navy whites and immediately wants to know him better.

This was a quick read that still manages to give you a great story. I loved the twist halfway through which gave a whole new depth to the read. The attraction between these two is off the charts so be prepared for a steamy read.

If you need some quick loving then I can definitely recommend this book.

Fantasy isn't one of my favorite genre's but this was a short, sweet and fun story to read. The descriptive writing was amazing. I felt like I was seeing everything as it was happening. I felt like I could feel what was going on, the sea, the water, the sand, the people everything. It was a fun, easy read. I enjoyed how not everything was easy for her.. how things were bad.. and things were good.. Overall this was a very enjoyable story and I am excited to see what happenes next.

Mitchell never fails to amaze me. Slade House is gripping! I read this within 2 hours, not even putting the book down for dinner.

Combining several separate short stories to create one entirely tantalizing plot, Mitchell doesn't leave readers unsatisfied. As the book goes on we find out more about the two mysterious beings creating lifelong destruction in the equally mysterious Slade House and as we find out more, we wish we hadn't.

Creepy, thrilling and beautiful, this book is an excellent read for any horror genre lovers!
