Monkey's Stagger
11 short stories, dark and twisted. they range from supernatural to horror. The stories are not exactly what you'd expect some of them she turns on their heads and others she takes a drastic turn. It shows her range as a writer.

This was a cool collection of stories (almost like parables?) by some great authors. I loved switching between authors and characters through out the different stories. The authors all did a great job of bringing the characters to life in such a short time, and they had such good everyday life wisdom weaved in all the stories.

Great Anthology of stories
This is a great book that fans of Stephen King will love. 23 stories of varying length that have all the trademarks of his stories. Some aren't so great and very short, but the majority of stories I would rate 7-10 individually. The stand out stories are:
Dolan's Cadillac
The Night Flier
Chattery Teeth
Dedication
Sorry Right Number
The Ten O'clock people
The Doctor's case.

I really don't know what to think about this collection of short stories. This is the first book by Flannery O'Connor that I have ever read and I just don't know.
These short stories are full of cynicism. I have a feeling that Flannery O'Connor and I would probably get along due to our cynical natures. I enjoyed the book yet I have been left wanting a lot more. I'm not usually a fan of short stories because I want more. I hate how disjointed they are and I tend to just want a novella or novel instead.
Some of the stories I loved and others I just wasn't fully impressed with. All in all, I'm glad that I read this book but I probably will not read anything else by Flannery O'Connor.

I really enjoyed this book. While not normally a fan of short stories, these were enthralling and diverse enough to make me keep reading. Highly recommended Australian horror author.

A delightful collection of stories all focusing on something ending, and each one looking at a different type of how things finish. You can read my full review here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2014/07/20/endings-exists-finishes-and-finales-a-collection-of-six-short-stories/
