I wish this show had been around when I totally worked a terrible office job, but alas, it wasn't. Retsuko vents her anger by singing metal karaoke, and raging. I totally felt her rage, and wish I would have had an outlet like that. I can't wait until there are more episodes this year.

My only complaint, which is towards Netflix, is that the dub and the subtitles did not match at times, and sometimes, the characters were having different conversations. Dude, Netflix, just match the dub and subs.

"I think that Elizabeth Fraser is such an amazing singer. Even though she’s not singing words, there’s so much emotion in her voice. The melodies are unbelievably strong, and when you combine that with Elizabeth's voice it conveys things that mere words can’t. “I also love the way that the instrumentation is almost the same for every song. With some artists, that might not work, but the Cocteau Twins manage to take you into their own sonic world. They’re totally captivating. This is one of my favorite records ever."

"It’s one of those albums that creeps in to your life, especially that tune, ‘These Days’. I know it was written by Jackson Browne and it was a hit before that, but she just nails it. You have to be old enough, broad enough to start realising that that’s a great voice, that it’s got something in it that’s more than conventional singing. I just love all the arrangements, they’re unbelievable. I really got into strings from this, seeing how they can prop up a really fragile song."

"I love the songs on it and I love Karl Wallinger's singing. I fell in love with it cause he sorta took all the influences that he loves from the sixties and seventies - I guess from The Beatles, The Stones, Bob Dylan - and somehow he made it into his own style. I don't think anybody really heard this album in the States, I don't think it had any commercial success at all. It's a great record. It’s a record I played to death and it still sounds as good now as when it came out."

"Talking Book blew me away when I was going through a dry period in my writing. I heard Stevie Wonder and thought that I couldn’t improve on what he’s done, he’s such a genius! I just fell in love with it, it was black soul music from that era, but sounds totally, totally now. One of things he developed was the protection of funk through the electronics of synthesiser, keyboard and singing. I think Sly had a lot to do with influencing Stevie at the time as well."

Lullaby girl awakes on a Scottish Loch with no memory of her past except the Norwgian Lullaby she is singing. Read as her memories unfold to reveal a harrowing ordeal.

The story had great potential and for 75% of the book I did really enjoy it, it lived up to the suspense expected. The characters at the womens home were really different and built up so that you felt terror when they were around.

I felt the ending was rushed and repetitive in places e.g. hiding a lot.
