What an epic story! I loved every single second of it and I cannot wait to read the second book as I am dying to know what happens to Ash, Violet and Raven. The world building captured my imagination and the story came to life.

This is a must read and the cover is stunning.

A Sensory Overload
I watched this at my local indie cinema last year, and I came out completely stunned. I was shocked, disturbed... and euphoric. Every single second of this outstanding movie grabs hold of your senses, and twists them beyond anything you’ve experienced before. Brutal but brilliant, with a soundtrack to die for.

Obsessive love in Tangier
This novel seemed to me like a mix of Single White Female and The Talented Mr. Ripley. The plot was entertaining, if predictable. The characters though, unlike Gone Girl’s titular protagonist, were unlikeable and seemed to have no redeeming qualities.

I cannot begin to describe how beautiful and heartbreaking this novel is. It is the story of a young woman who finds herself in a man who has had his adventurous life ripped from him in a single accident. You will cry and laugh. Possibly, cry more than laugh. I recommend this to everyone.

Dreamy
After I watched this film I watched every single film by the director I was that impressed with this. It reminded me of Japanese cinema in that it wasn't limited by its imagination. The Endless is a brave, clever film which absorbs you completely.

"A fantastic introduction to one of the greatest authors ever. This 1997 collection of essays is one of Wallace’s best works. I can confidently say that the title essay is the single funniest thing I have ever read on paper. I can also confidently say … no one will ever write the way he did."

"This book brought me to poetry; I could never read it enough. Celan’s poems are a radiant reminder of the most desolate events that can attend humankind (i.e. the Holocaust, suicidal despair) and its most resplendent features (the near mystical possibilities of poetic language, of intimacy). “Single counter- / swimmer, you / count them, touch them / all.’”"
