"I remember the impact Lucrecia Martel’s debut feature had on film students, critics, and fellow filmmakers. It was released on one single 35 mm print in Brazil, and that was shredded over a period of a year after playing in just about all noncommercial movie theaters around the country. I love everything about this film: the obliqueness of it, the fresh and bold take on sexuality, the use of sound, the faces and bodies. It was also quite a reference for a filmmaker like me, who like Martel believed films could be about people interacting with a certain feeling of space and time, mediated by cinema itself."

This story was right up my street. It had everything I look for in a book; humour, sexiness and a good plotline. So in my opinion Cora Carmack is a genius!

If you ask me, Garrick quite possibly pulled every single female reader within those first two chapters. Girls, he’s hot! In fact, Garrick seems pretty fecking perfect and I have to say I’m slightly jealous of Bliss. The rest of the characters are a fun bunch and when they do the whole getting drunk thing together I was laughing.

If you’re looking for a fun, sexy read then I recommend this book. It’s amazing!

"This is Eisenberg's first collection of stories — and many of them hinge on how our perception of the world can be irrevocably changed. In the title story, a character answers the phone, and as she talks to the caller, a former lover, she glances toward the man she's having a drink with: "He seemed like a scrap of paper, or the handle from a broken cup, or a single rubber band — a thing that has become dislodged from its rightful place." I so responded to this wonderful notion that you can lose yourself in one moment, and afterward see everything in a totally different way."

YAWN.... DNF

This book is so boring. The subject matter had great potential, focusing on Anne de Bourgh from Pride and Prejudice. It's obvious from the first pages that this chick is addicted to laudanum, guess what, she's drugged up all the time! I was 30 percent of the way through this book, and Anne was only 20. Literally nothing happened, other than her figuring out she like chicks. Another trope, single chick back in the day = must be a lesbian. That was the death knell for me, I was out.

I cannot say it's poorly written, the writing was fine. It was just so damn boring.

Not for me
At its heart this game is all about the multiplayer. Which is great if you love pvp but for me getting murdered repeatedly in the chaos of a dogfight is so frustrating I'd rather be playing something else.
The single player campaign has very little to get excited about and seems to be there as a means of teaching the player the controls.

The game graphics, however, are beautiful. And I really wish I had VR so I could enjoy it fully.
An alright game for those who love Star Wars, but doesn't have the depth of many other games available this generation.

he self-titled 2019 debut LP from Mouth of Ghosts is a culmination of several years' worth of stylistic probing, and the exploration of a nexus between dance pop, hard rock influences, and a vocal aesthetic that combines power and precision with a mesmerizing sense of rhythm.

On Mouth of Ghosts, the EP, listeners are given the opportunity to explore a diverse collection of textures and tones within a single cohesive experience. Downfall leverages a cinematic quality of tone with layers of vocal harmony and a groove that gives hints of reggae. The result is a shimmering track that feels suspended halfway between Enya and K.Flay.

Excellent and Intense game
I started playing this as a game on game pass that i have never heard of. I thought that i would give it ten minutes, three hours later and i was still playing it. Its not easy to put down and there are lots of missions and side quests as well as a large and extensive single player campaign. Its an MMORPG that is easy to play and yet strangely addictive. The graphics are really good and the intuitive gameplay makes for a very absorbing challenge. :)
