We seem to get an adventure with many different folks. It starts with wanting to find out who and why his sister was killed.
Why does everyone want the money? Or is it something else that they want?
There seem to be quite a few dead bodies along the way. Someone seems to be cleaning up his messes. Who wants Lou dead? Why do they want the money? Though there seems to be another plot going on, it seems that someone keeps coming after Lou.
That person seems to think he knows this tech or has it or something. Though Lou seems to have found a woman as well, and maybe a little romance come about. What will happen to him and the young woman he first meets?
Will he solve the mystery of how his sister was killed? Why was she killed?

My coworker read this book as well but didn't like how whiney the boy was but i think they are like a ying and yang couple where she is confident and aggressive while he is sweet and meek. In fact they would have never seen each other again if it wasn't for his sister needing more tp because of her Crohn's disease. Its funnier now that we are not actually going through a tp pandemic :/

Of Goblins and Gold ( Of Goblin Kings book 1)
By Emma Hamm
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Freya knows the sound of goblin bells. She knows to move to the side of the road and let them pass. Never buy any of their wares. And above all else, never make a deal with the monstrous beasts.
But when her sister takes a necklace and is kidnapped, Freya knows there is no other choice. She must journey to the realm of the fae where the Goblin King himself has stolen her sister. Once there, she must perform four tasks to save the only family she has left.
The Goblin King won't make this easy, however. He always seems one step ahead of her. To defeat him, she'll have to put everything on the line.
Even her heart.
I really enjoyed this! It was all fairytale vibes and such a sweet story. The characters were all such fun and it’s definitely a tale of don’t judge before you have taken the time to get to know. Really enjoyable light read.

I got excited when I realized this book was riffing on one of the few Agatha Christie novels I’ve actually read. Of course, it takes the premise and goes off in some other directions. It took me a little while to get into the story, but I did get hooked before we reached the logical climax. This book builds on some developments from the previous one, which I liked. And I enjoyed getting to know the new characters and spending time with the returning ones. The historic details are fun as well. While Agatha Christie fans will especially enjoy this series, anyone who loves a good mystery will be glad they picked it up. And that’s no lie.
