More or less direct sequel to the first Robert Downey Jr Sherlock Holmes movie, that again continues the unfortunate trend of an over-reliance of slow motion scenes, and slapstick based around Holmes being in disguise.
Better than the first, yes, but nowhere near as good as the BBC Benedict Cumberbatch adaptations, or even of NBCs Elementary.

Good performances
Hilarious remake of the original
So where to start with 21 jump street. At first glance, you have two lead actors in there primes. Two comedic actors in there primes. Add that together with a fair script and you will have a good combination for a comedic film.
The performances of both Tatum and hill are on point and the supporting actors match them as well. With The only downfall I could really pick out would be there a fair bit of silent scenes where it's the obvious slapstick comedy.. For me, it doesn't pay off.
That being said, I would still watch this film again and still laugh, the plot is good, the performances are on point and the comedy albeit slapstick is still funny.

I am a huge fan of Jim Carrey and I believe he is often misunderstood, moving on with the film which is an early role that exposes us to his comedic timing and energetic slapstick that more than makes up for the poor plot mechanics.
It's quite possibly one of Carrey's best movies and solid entertaining fun if nothing else.

Brillaint Slapstick Comic Horror
Enjoyable and silly, and by todays standards incredibly un-horrific.
Price sending up his entire oeuvre is arguably even better than when he is playing it straight.
Notable for raspberry jam, dodgy effects and a very, veeeery young Jack Nicholson.
Maybe a bit dated for modern tastes, but I love it and so did my kids 😊

Animatronics are good
Gingerbread men + nailgun = win
Amusing
Watched this for the first time today, and it's a good laugh. Silly fun, and probably the first "horror" I've watched with a Christmas theme. If you're looking for a Christmas film that's different from the usual family fun or slapstick comedy, it's worth a go.

So bad it was kinda good.
This was a spoof on dracula films and it was so bad I actually really liked it, it was lighthearted, amusing and a bit slapstick.
Definitely one to watch with a bit of alcohol in the system lol, doesnt require brain power to follow the storyline.
