Is this site dead now? Seems like nothing is getting done anymore, and there's not as much activity as before. I also submitted some edits which I never heard back from and that was about 2 weeks ago. Used to hear back within the same day or the next. I hope it's not dead though. I like Smashbomb.

@Kevin Phillipson, I miss them too. I got the t-shirt, and I won a Polaroid camera. The giveaways were awesome! It seems when Imogen quit, the site seemed to quit with her =(

I was about to post the same question then noticed this post. I love smashbomb have the shirt and won a cd in the giveaways but there hasn't been anything on there in months and I'm not worried I was getting followers quite often now I've had 1 in about 6 months.

@Smashbomb - I'm losing faith! Are you ever coming back? The Smashbomb Elves haven't been working for ages, so all edits to authors, covers, and books are still not showing up. I'm not even getting notifications or kudos anymore. Will things go back to normal anytime soon? Or should I just give up? 😞

It's update time again and we have pushed some more tweaks and improvements to the live server today, including a revamp of the 'Discover' page, and a new 'Save As Draft' feature amongst other things.

Good morning Smashbomb peeps!
If someone comments on a video you get a notification. When you click it, all it does is play the video and you still have to scroll or go to the page to see the comment. Sometimes that's a lot of scrolling depending on how old it is. It would be nice to go right to the comment.

I had an android but it was killing me with speed and storage and then it broke. I decided I may as well go and get the newest iPhone. It’s great and I have had no issues aside from some apps not being fully compatible with the phone yet just as Smashbomb. Lol

We have some news. In fact, we have some massive news.

The Smashbomb mobile app is now live for Android on Google Play Store.

Note that this is the first 'official' release of the app so expect many more ‘bells and whistles’ to come.

I was thinking of taking a break from movie reviews due to my local Cineworld closing thursday. When I joined smashbomb two years ago it was to share my love of movies and now due to covid 19 I feel sometimes what's the point anymore. Don't worry I'm not leaving which I would never doo there's plenty of reviews still to come from me .
