Fun interactive social media app
I use this app to connect with alot of youtube vloggers because this seems to be their preferred social media. I can spend hours scrolling through the stories feature.
I use the explore tab to find new people to follow and I also realized that there are quite a few videos that feature clips from movies and tv shows and I have found a lot of good movie I otherwise would not have watched through the explore tab on instagram.
I also follow a lot of people who sell second hand books, clothes and toys on their page. Its always a surprise what I can find and its also a part of instagram that not many people seem to know about.

Ingrid Goes West (2017)
Ingrid Goes West (2017)
2017 | Comedy
Ingrid Goes West heavily explores obsession, stalker behavior, and the need to be noticed, both on social media and in real life. It also touches on the duality of online personas versus the ones we lead in real life.

The best Stephen King Podcast out there
The Losers have been reviewing the works, social media and daily exploits of Stephen King since January of 2017. They go more in depth into each work than any other discussion I’ve encountered.

Wow!!! Stumbled across this book in my local library and couldn't put it down. I read it within the first night and what a book. One of my favourite plotlines within the book was the fact you can't believe everything you see on social media. Completely drawn in from the first page and honestly, that ending was shocking.

Phone addict Daisy will do anything for a like on social media. She shares almost everything from her life and exaggerates about all of it too. It’s a good skill to have when your job is to run the social media of a company, not so good when you accidentally send an explicit tweet through your company’s account rather than your own.

Daisy’s life is turned upside-down. She is sacked from her job after her tweet goes viral, and hopeless that she will find another place willing to take her. A digital detox is just what she needs. She goes to stay at a farm her sister Rosie has bought and helps her renovate it, meeting some interesting people along the way.

It Started With A Tweet reminded me of Cecelia Ahern and Sophie Kinsella, so it was right up my street. It’s lighthearted and laugh-out-loud funny and overall a really entertaining read. Daisy’s constant comments made me giggle and she was such a lifelike character.

It was also interesting to read someone going through a digital detox because I know for sure that I wouldn’t be able to just stop using my phone and my laptop. My life is social media, so I have a real understanding of Daisy’s character.

Unreasonably angry about being pill shamed on other social media. OCD isn’t something that fixes itself in many cases, some of us are unlucky enough to actually require medication. Remember Jack Nicholson in As Good as it Gets??? I’m starting to develop his personality disorder too. All because ignorance seems to rule the world. Back to your regularly scheduled programming, lol...

Reliable and easy to use
In general, messenger delivers the best platform for messaging around on social media. It's intuitive to use and you can send pictures, use gifs, filters etc. Group chat within messenger also works very well. I am occasionally dissatisfied when updates come and usability is changed but I do find that the issues are ironed out in the end.

Movie Favorite

"I’d heard bits about The Battle of Algiers and knew I wanted to see it; I’m a big fan of Peter Watkins’s The Battle of Culloden and the whole mock-doc/social-realist filmmaking aesthetic. It makes interesting counterprogramming to our understanding through modern media of the difference between “freedom fighters” and “terrorists.” It’s just as relevant now as it was then."

Just watched probably watch the sequel sometime but anyway interesting idea for a horror movie the whole movie shown thru the main characters Skype and social media platforms as u watch them slowly losing it thanks to the mysterious stalker who maybe there dead friend looking for revenge. It's okay for a horror but searching another movie using the internet did it better.

Love the Giveaways addition. One thing I would like to see is the ability to link to a specific giveaway. For those of us who are giving items away, it would be nice to share the link around our other social media accounts. Currently (unless I'm missing something) you can only link to the Giveaway page itself, but not to a single giveaway item.

Makes perfect sense and that should 100% happen. Added to the development queue. ?
