The storyline
Wierdly intriguing
After all the fuss on social media, I thought it would be worthwile watching. Yet the dissapointment soon set in. The realisation that I wouldn't recieve a scare became a realisation within the first 10 minutes. I found myself watching the film to the end to see if it would go somewhere, but it never did.
Kate (355 KP) rated Spotify Music in Apps
Jan 7, 2019
My husband strangely got me into this app and he hates social media and any apps, but it is brilliant for listening to music, there are ads if you don't pay for the premium service but that doesn't actually bother me. It will give you suggestions to listen to or you can choose your own, have found some new music to listen too whilst doing chores.

Sarah (7798 KP) rated Black Mirror - Season 1 in TV
Aug 28, 2017
This first season is nearly flawless. Charlie Brooker really knows how to do dark and alternative futures. The last episode is my favourite out of the 3, it's a piece of technology I'd be intrigued to have myself. All 3 episodes are strong though, all with fantastic casts and storylines. They're all interesting takes on social media, technology and pop culture and sadly you could almost imagine these happening now.

Love Instagram
As an adult over 40 and daily user of social media I find Instagram a way more interactive site than FB. I love FB but I find people seem to respond more to your posts than FB. Plus you now have Insta Story which is much easier than Snap Chat and you can add words, emojis and so much more to make it fun and interactive.
It's the only place you can say what you think before you've thought whether it's okay to say it. (2 more)
If you want to escape from specific news stories or current affairs, unlike other social media platforms; you can mute people, or even whole topics.
Everything from everyone is relatable, no one gets offended, a meme can usually diffuse any situation
Shouldn't be free
Kate (355 KP) rated Apple iPad in Tech
Jan 6, 2019
I have a fairly old ipad - about six years old now, but I use it for everything from social media to emails to watching films and box sets on, so there is no need for a separate laptop (which I don't have). I would also suggest getting a Bluetooth keyboard as being a touch typist it is a lot easier to use then the one on the screen.
JUMPCUT ONLINE (77 KP) rated Ma (2019) in Movies
Jun 30, 2019
Ma is an absolutely wild ride of a film; it orbits you on social media for a couple of months before ghosting you and then coming back out of nowhere with some seriously WTF moments. It had me screaming with laughter and then screaming in terror, something that I find to be one of the most effective storytelling methods within the horror genre.
