**BOOK SYNOPIS**
From the award-winning author of Comfort Plans and Comfort Songs comes a story of two rising stars blitzed by social media. Lacy Cavanaugh and single-dad Rudy Delgardo live a hundred miles apart but meet in the worst possible way. Working at a weekly paper and creating social media for area businesses helps Lacy connect with locals who open her mind to a perspective beyond Instagram. In launching a food-and-wine festival to support Comfort’s new event center, she discovers surprising skills bubbling over, much like the food she’s attempting to cook.

Rudy, on the brink of his restaurant’s takeover, struggles to improve time management so he can create a better relationship with his daughter. Distracted by Lacy and her invitation to the festival, he’s tempted by her beauty, wit, and courage, but as a chef, he rarely gets to enjoy life outside the kitchen. Enemies, illness, and exes add unwelcome spice to the dish they’re concocting—one that will teeter with misunderstanding until the very end.

Will Lacy and Rudy embrace their second chances and discover the perfect seasonings of family, resilience, and grace to create a handwritten recipe of love that will stand the test of time?

COMPOSED is the seventh book in The Art of Loving series, and features Nally (Ronald) Hawthorne, the youngest of the bunch, and his BFF, Jude. Nally has just composed the soundtrack to a film and is swept away by all the publicity and social media attention. However, social media is where Jude excels, so he is more than happy to become Nally's agent for a while. There is a fly in the ointment, though, in the shape of a stalker 'fan', who seems to think Nally is his.

I thought this was really well-written, showing just how simple yet complicated a relationship can be between two men who have been lifelong friends, especially when there is a bad relationship example with another friend to get hung up on. And yes, I loved how it was resolved with Tim!

I thought the two of them made for a perfect pair, and both were slightly naive. I'm unsure if it's in a "they're supposed to be like that, because they're aristos" kind of way, or if that's just how I was reading it. That surprised me with Jude, especially with the stalker situation, as I thought he would have been more aware of things, due to his being an influencer.

This was an easy read that had both drama and lighthearted moments. Definitely recommended by me.

I am a PCD
Two friends chatting about music, life, love, veganism and social media on Radio X. Excellent features such as "Humblebrag of the Week", "Made Up Game", "Abbatoir" (where some of the biggest bands in the world are debated and listener votes either put them safely in the paddock or consign them to the abbatoir) and "Winner Plays On".
Both comedians in their own right, Elis James is a football-mad Welsh mod and John Robins is a Queen-obsessed stickler for the rules. Both have enough in common and enough different opinions to make the show hilarious and something of a cult. Listen to all shows from the start to become a "retro-oner" and a "Podcast Devotee" (PCD).

It is basically social media for athletes, you follow different people and then see when they upload a run, cycle ride or swim. You can award kudos or comment on their activity.

I believe you can track activity straight from strava however I have mine set up to sync with Fitbit [running] and garmin [cycling] just as I already had both of these devices and don’t always take my phone out with me. Once you have set up the connection with another app you don’t have to do anything it will automatically upload any activity to strava for you to view.

I enjoy using strava for the different insights it gives you, you can pay to have premium membership which gives you even more info, however I don’t bother.

I like instagram as it is an easy way to see the exciting things people around me are up to. Its algorithm isn't too bad, at least for me it shows me everything posted by people I follow in time order. I find it a good platform to have Q and A sessions on, and it is easy to use.
