The next Downtown
If you like Downton, you’ll love this. Witty, contemplative, And engaging, you are continually swept along with the narrative that transports you back to the time of Waterloo and the subsequent architectural development of an up and coming London society.

Occasionally the historical references to architectural nuances can prove a little dull and distract from the flow of the narrative, but the characters are engaging and the storylines keep you raptured to the end.

Original idea same vein as Black Mirror
This is a very original idea for a TV show, very dark in parts as though it's touching on parts and people in society that most other shows won't go to, very similar vein to black mirror without the techy feel.
I loved it and watched it start to finish in one go as its kind of like you want to know how much more messed up it can get.
Highly reccomend for fans of early black Mirror.

Superb
The best, most engaging and accurate portrayal Of a simple man suffering from Mental Health problems and the society around him that either can't or won't help him...

When going into this flick I couldn’t have imagined how much of an effect it would have on me. This is was an absolute masterclass in filmmaking and one of the single best performances I have seen in the last decade.

Oh it’s also a Batman DC tie-in so that makes it all the sweeter

The is the end (or is it?!)
Here it is, what the series has been building to. This volume sees Butcher and Homelander move towards conflict, with Vought and The Boys hoping it is avoided/delayed.
Some epic twists in this story, as Homelander's plans to press superheroes' place in society start to unfold.
If you aren't humming the tenpole tudor song every time you pick this book up, there is something very wrong with you.
This should really have ended the story nicely with minimal doubt. However, there was another volume!
