"This is a brilliant new novel by E. Lockhart. I’ve always adored a good generational drama and this is deeply fascinating reading and soaked in suspense. And the ending is utterly spooky"

"If this dry, hilarious, spooky existential vision had been subtitled in, let’s say, Iranian, would it have been better recognized for the masterpiece it is? Linklate’s sensibility is not so far from Kiarostami’s."

I love Susan Hill's ghost stories. She is masterful at creating atmosphere and suspense. This was a very chilling, spooky story - a definite no-no for anyone who is scared of dolls. Great twists and a really fun read.

Looking for a Halloween feel book without the spooky or gore this is your book. It was absolutely laugh out loud funny at parts and I just generally enjoyed reading it. Looking for a good ghost story this is for sure it!

The setting was aptly spooky and the author did a great job creating suspense. (0 more)
I didn't feel much for Elsie and I found the ending a little disappointing, although I didn't predict the twist. (0 more)
Readable but with a disappointing ending
This was an easy book to read and at points I really enjoyed the setting and suspense. It achieved its aim of being suitably spooky. Unfortunately I didn't feel enough of a connection with the main character, or any of the characters for that matter, to find this book really enjoyable.
I found the ending slightly disappointing.

A song that everybody knows or should know. If you have seen the 1964 tv show or the 1991 movie or the 1993 sequel movie. The addams family is loved by all. And this movie is really good.

It takes elements from the oringal tv show and the movies and mixs it up.

The Plot: Members of the mysterious and spooky Addams family -- Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Uncle Fester and Grandma -- are readily preparing for a visit from their even creepier relatives. But trouble soon arises when shady TV personality Margaux Needler realizes that the Addams' eerie hilltop mansion is standing in the way of her dream to sell all the houses in the neighborhood.

You got to love the charcters, you got to love their personalty, you got to love that their mysterious, spooky, creppy, kooky and ooky.

This is a good film, despite what the critics have said. Kids and their family should see this film.

A historical supernatural thriller which is an addictive read. I wanted the story to continue as i found it difficult to put down.

Quick read

So this was a one-shot book where each page has an illustration and a sentence or a fragment of a sentence that goes with the image.

Spooky graphic novel with some interesting peices that I wish could have had a little more back story to.
