Very much the poor cousin to TWD, this series chronicles the world while the outbreak is happening (for me one of the best parts of TWD is that it moved beyond that aspect which has been done to death). It is interesting to see the walkers being dealt with at a different stage of decay and in a different setting (urban California) but it is not a patch on TWD.

Surreal film

A very well made film with a good cast. An actor from a big TV show is now a struggling Theatre director who longs for his former glory days. It has some long unedited scenes which almost make it feel like watching a stage show. It uses some other clever camera tricks. The film is quite strange and might be a bit marmite because of it.

The investigation of the murder takes more centre stage here as Noah and Alison's affair starts to have impacts on the lives of people in the town. Again two timeframes are on the go here, as the murder trial starts and the events surrounding the murder are revealed bit by bit.
Another great balance between drama and romance, family turmoil and a thriller aspect. Satisfying but surprising conclusion.

Eddie could do no wrong at this early stage of his career and his fresh take on comedy was nothing short of amazing and this film was one of the best of his 80's line up.
It's a fish out of water story peppered with Murpy's unique ultra cool flare and timing which makes this one of the best 80's cop movies and an instant classic.
