Katey Bassett (610 KP) rated IO (2019) in Movies
Mar 4, 2019
Loved this.
The world this created was very interesting, the overgrown imagery they create for you reminded me a lot of the futuristic world that took place in wayward pines - seeing something how it was vs how nature would eventually take it all back. Stories were not alike at all however.

Jun 14, 2019
Great way to kill a few hours
Just like theme hospital....but BETTER the gameplay is hilarious, the stories behind each map are great and there is a certain ampunt of difficulty to the game and logic as well....can easily spend 3/4 hours playing this game without realising

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2434 KP) rated ...And the Dying is Easy in Books
Mar 9, 2018
A collection of summer themed short stories. Most of them were quite good, but there were a few that confirmed my opinion of some writers. All told, I enjoyed it.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2434 KP) rated Third Watch (A.D. Chronicles, #3) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Several stories of people who need a miracle are intertwined with the politics surrounding Yeshua in first century Israel. The result is a powerful look at God's mercy and love.

Chris Hooker (419 KP) rated Damaged in Books
Jun 6, 2018
This book was so many different dramatic stories all rolled into one. Kim Pritekel did an amazing job intertwining all the different plot lines into one incredible stong novel. The characters where well developed and did not over power the overall plot or each other. It was a well woven tapestry.
Meg Dean (138 KP) rated Miss Dahl's Voluptuous Delights: Recipes for Every Season, Mood, and Appetite in Books
Jun 20, 2018
Ok...I love the British and British food...that said...
Sophie Dahl is so British it almost hurts! Her stories and sense of humor relate most the Anglophiles amongst us :c)
I love her and some of the recipes in this book
Only 3 stars though...fewer than 20 bookmarks :c)

Dean (6927 KP) rated Holidays (2016) in Movies
Dec 9, 2018
Mixed bag Horror anthology
An 8 part Horror anthology of various Holidays throughout the year. The Christmas, New Year's Eve and Fathers day segments are OK nothing amazing. Unfortunately the others are a range from the bizarre to the very poor. Would have benefited from fewer and more padded out stories.
