I definitely recommend listening to the audiobook version, as it's narrated by Le Carre himself. I really liked knowing the history behind the writer, and to see where a lot of his inspiration came from. It was broken up into a series of short stories/essays, which made it flow really well, in my opinion.

A decent crime drama based on a true story of a murdering couple in the 1940's and 50's. It has an exceptional cast, but wanders between crime drama and the sub stories a bit too much. A slow paced film without a lot of action. Ok but could have been a lot better.

I loved the storyline and the way the movie flowed, the characters were each interesting and it was nice to see the back stories. (1 more)
As a non-DCnerd I liked it as I didn't have any expectations.
It was okay!

I read this to my girls and they loved it. They said it was "spooky and funny" and that they want to read the others. They like the characters and how much adventure that is in these stories. I am glad I was able to review it for the author with my kids :D

Everything Megan Hart writes is gold. There are few writers on my auto buy, but Hart is definitely one of them. She knows how to write engaging characters whose stories grab you heart strings. You are sure to go through an emotional roller before you done so make sure you are prepared going in.

i was so surprised i liked this novel. actually, it's three short stories. i almost didn't get it because it looked like it was geared toward love sick 14 year olds. but Taylor has a beautiful writing style and i liked that i could tell she was from the NW in the first few pages.

This book literally held me at ransom until I finished. You hear the stories and see the news but you never quite get it until you're there with the characters. This story did just that, it allowed me to see and sort of feel what these characters were feeling, doing and wanting. Just wow!!
