All aboard

A good revival of the old thriller aboard a train film. It starts fairly slow but the second half soon intensifies with a mix of suspense, action and tone. It will grip you and draw you in, wondering what twist will come next. A solid cast give good performances and the setting and location add to the drama of the film.

This was a chilling read. Kept the suspense all the way through. Throughout the novel, however, it became predictable as to what would happen. A lot of horror troupes found themselves repeated. There is a lot more to this book than what is presented on the surface. If you're a fan of gothic horror, give this one a shot.

Hard to watch in a cinema (0 more)

Maybe this was a bit of a let down for me because of the irritating people that were noisy in the cinema. It lost some of its suspense. But at least it was unique and offered something else. I still felt it lacked something but I'm not exactly sure what that was.

"Hitchcock’s best film, for my money. But then any movie with the sinister Ivan Triesault gets my vote. He’s the one who takes Claude Rains in the final moments for his last ride, for us and for Claude. I wonder if, even in real life, the villainous Triesault could smile. The suspense in the wine cellar upsets my nerves every time."

okay so this show probably isnt gonna be everyones cup of tea however i really enjoyed it myself the show is fast paced ans action packed you are o n the edge of your seat most of the program and the characters are fabulous highly recommend it

This gripping and thrilling King adaptation became notorious for one of many gruesome scenes that gave rise to a new definition of the word Stalking.
It's quite Hitchcock like in its execution and the level of suspense is palpable and very dark, Bates chills to the bone as her character mutates from number 1 fan to absolute psycho. Edge of the seat viewing!
