Flawless Drama
This show doesn't need a long review - it's too perfect. Too funny. Too clever. the chemistry between James Spader and William Shatner as Alan and Denny respectively draws you in and makes you wish they were your buddies, that you could hang out with them on the penthouse office balcony, talking philosophically about life with a cigar in one hand and a fine scotch whiskey in the other. The cast is superb and the writing brilliant...Thank you David E Kelly et al.

This was a book I won on a goodreads giveaway. I LOVED THIS BOOK!! The 2 main characters, Paul & his dog Stella are perfectly flawed. I went through every emotion in the course of reading this book...I laughed, cried, thought, & enjoyed every moment of it. Stella is a wise & loyal dog to the very end. Being a "dog person" myself I could totally relate to the owner talking to dog aspect of this book. I've spent lots of time wondering what my dog would say back to me if he could. I think this books give me the perfect answers.

I have been binge watching this with my mom and we both love the show. I'd heard from a few friends that the pacing is too slow and while I can see what they're talking about, I don't agree. I find the flashbacks and the ghost easter eggs as well as the ways the storylines are being brought together to be very satisfying. I really like that while it has them, it doesn't rely on jumpscares. The acting is hit or miss, but the main cast are all very talented. I would definitely recommend watching it, especially if you prefer old school horror.

Lolo & Stitch is one of my favorite Disney movies and even though it is mentioned a lot.. Or well Stitch is I still feel like it's a really under rated movie.

The movie is such a heart warming family movie with some of Disney's best characters... I'm talking about Nani she is one of the most underrated characters Disney has ever made in my opinion.

One of my favorite things about it is that doesn't really have a romantic storyline at all it's in the background and it is about makeing your own family and it's just so dang sweet.

A very funny film if you like Family guy sense of humour. I did wonder about the whole talking teddy bear thing and if they could pull it off, but it looks great....must have put a lot of detail into the animation for Ted. The film is very funny, although very close to crossing the line at times but this is from the same people behind family guy after all so you know what to expect. All the thrown back's to things in the 80's make it even funnier if you're from that generation.

I'm so used to just scrolling past it every time I visit Smashbomb, but today I thought I'd stop and ask about it - I'm talking about the 'Recommended For You' box. I don't know how everyone else feels about it but I'd personally like the ability to disable it if possible. I can't work out how it is generated as I can't see any way of recommending something to somebody when I'm reviewing it, yet lots of people seem to have recommended things to me. If anyone can give me a bit more info on it that would be much appreciated!

Hi @Lee - thanks for the feedback!

I would like to know what anybody else thinks to the 'Recommended For You' box, and what you might prefer to see in there as an alternative?

Thanks ?

Yes I have mentioned this before also. Not a fan of recommended for you especially since I have rated so many items. Is there a way to combine these two requests (lee's and Sarah's) and put maybe a "What have you missed?" section kind of the way Twitter does? I like that feature there since I don't use Twitter every day.

Hey Influencers!

I think we're all very aware of the current situation with Coronavirus and how it's going to have a huge effect on people's social lives. So I was thinking - can we all come up with some of the best items in any/every category for everyone to watch/read/play if we are all stuck inside?

It would be a great way to get people talking - and what's better to talk about than a good book or movie!

If anyone has any other ideas or suggestions please feel free to drop a comment below!

Books to read with your kids (various ages, eg 3-5, 5-7, 7-9, etc), Books to cheer you up, I’m reluctant to say apocalyptic/ dystopian books, because I don’t think we need it, to be honest! But we could make them, and people have the choice to look and not look 🤷🏼‍♀️
Books that are up for release - loads of authors are having to postpone book tours because of this, so some need all the help they can get, especially first time authors.

I think this is a great idea. Is there a way that we partners can help?

@Night Reader Reviews At the minute, with the influencers, we're coming up with lists of items for different groups of people in isolation such as families, couples, individuals, etc. So if you can think of anything to add to those lists that would be great - or even to come up with some new ideas on how we can get people talking! :)

Top bitesize TV series
Finally got round to watching this after hearing many good reviews. A very short series of 6 episodes and only 25 minute long episodes. It follows the life of a 30 year old dealing with life, relationships, family, love, grief and sex. It's very funny with a sharp, witty script. It's similar to @Peep Show - Season 1 in some ways, breaking the 4th wall talking to the viewer. Also similar tone but this time from a female perspective. If you haven't seen it yet check it out!

I've seen this film I don't know how many times and I don't think I'll ever get over it. John C. Reilly and Will Ferrell together are gold and I don't care what anyone says! I also recently listened to a podcast that had Adam Scott on and he talked about his experience on Step Brothers and it made me want to watch the film all over again to notice the things he was talking about!

I think this might be my favorite Reilly-Ferrell film - this or Talladega Nights. It's super funny and enjoyable. Definitely recommend.
