Rolling Stone's 332nd greatest album of all time
This was much better than "I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight" in my opinion. The songs vary quite markedly throughout - we get the "more Richard" songs which have a very Talking Heads/Roxy Music feel, and the "more Linda" songs, which are softer, more Carpenters. A good album overall and an interesting one.

Rolling Stone's 383rd greatest album of all time
This album is proof of Talking Heads' quality - I don't recognise any of the songs (except "Take Me to the River") but really enjoyed the album. Their sound, similar to Roxy Music is so distinctive and the songwriting so strong that even a casual listener like me can enjoy it on a first listen.

Not for the faint hearted 50 shades this is NOT
It's taken me a few years to read this book. It's Sadism at its best and vile
It's based around a group of adults who take a group of children to a castle and during said 120 days they slowly ingratiate said minors into a life of pure Sadism.
The adults have complex relationships between themselves let alone between the innocent children.
Every evening a story is told by an adult, usually an ex prostitute who shares her experiences with the group. Okay we are NOT talking the odd handcuff, 50 shades of boring stuff here, we are talking body fluids, eating shit, using every hole in the body in various ways with both sexes and varying ages.
This book is why Marquis De Sade is Sadism pure and simple.

For Tha' Master!
This story has a beautiful bit of humor in it, and the concept was fantastic. Not to mention the minions. No, I'm not talking about those yellow tic-tac looking freaks, but actual evil minions that are somewhere between Gremlins and goblins. Do yourself a favor: try it out. There's nothing like being an evil overlord to make your day.

Hands off Parents
Ok I gave this just over ten minutes. Found it so boring. Sounded like two parent just talking or moaning to each other. Nothing of interest as a parent lots of negativity and swearing when their children are in the background playing. They then say that they are both teachers. Might appeal to some but too much negativity for me.

Great conversation
An absolute gem. Comedians talking passionately about something that makes them laugh. Really knowledgeable hosts who see the funny side and expand upon their guests' ideas. The conversation flows naturally as they unpack the humour from a wide range of sources - books, LPs television, films, cartoons. Not always the usual suspects. Have come out of every episode having laughed and having learnt something.

There is both style and substance here and a highly recommend!

Old but still good
I never watched this when I was a kid. Everyone was always talking about it but i never wanted to watch you. But this year I have watch all the new films and all the old. And if I'm completely honest I couldn't tell you which I liked best. But I can say I'm sorry I waited all this time.

"Observations about life from a Roman emperor from almost 2,000 years ago. Remarkably fresh, simple, and pertinent. Filled with rational emotion and practical aphorisms. When I read this the first time, I felt like I was receiving loving guidance from a dear friend. The writing is that simple and relatable. Seriously, Marcus was an emperor, and you never feel like he’s talking down to the reader!"
