There are certain films that split audiences straight down the centre. Just look at @Mother! (2017) Darren Aronofsky’s Jennifer Lawrence-starring psychological horror that saw some critics awarded five-stars and others just one.

Using data from Metacritic, tech website Gizmodo has taken date from 9516 films, gathering details from 190,000 reviews by at least 842 named critics to scientifically work out the world’s most critically divisive films. So which films did you love and hate?

Spider-Man is successfully integrated into the Marvel cinematic universe, teasing great future films and establishing an awesome first villain for Peter and giving him the normal high school struggles of a real teenager (0 more)
There is some frustration to be said about Spider-Man suit being too high tech and not solely created by Peter, but his webslingers and superstrength alone when his suit was taken is still redeeming for the film. (0 more)

Interesting
This movie was surprisingly good. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but the acting was really good and the cinematography was, too. It had some interesting characters(everyone did great job), pretty cool sci-fi tech, and the storyline moved along at a very smooth pace. It had good dialogue, a decent background story for the main character and even some well placed action sequences. Overall, this movie was really very good and worth a watch!
