The epitomy of "so bad, it's great!"
One of my local independent theaters advertised this and I knew instantaneously: This movie was going to be so terrible, I would love it. It did not disappoint. A great trip back in time to before movies fit neatly into one of two categories: A) takes itself too seriously, or B) Superhero movie. This Santa still knows if you've been naughty or nice, but it's only because he eavesdrops on your conversations and watches your dreams. He lives in a castle in the sky, and can only visit Earth on Dec. 24th of every year. When he does, hilarity ensues as he constantly foils the Devil's plans to put each and every kid on the naughty list. If you're a fan of terrible B movies that just let go and keep you laughing, definitely check this out. Definitely some shallow stereotypes played up for laughs. Not for the easily offended.

Two things: I can't believe this is part of the official canon, and I cannot believe JK approved this.
I love Harry Potter, and one of my favorite characters is Cedric Diggory. So, yes, I was ticked with what they decided to do with him. The story was kind of terrible, a time turner that went back years, a spawn of Voldemort? So ridiculous. I have zero interest in ever seeing this live. It's definitely a cash-grab and I'm going to ignore the fact this was even written.

I was extremely excited to see this movie. That is, until I saw it. While the movie isn’t terrible, it doesn’t quite live up to your expectations. You can kinda just call what’s going to happen the entire movie. The skulls you see in the sky are reminiscent of the Deatheater marks in the sky in Harry Potter. The movie does have some good actors and actresses, but they could’ve hired better ones for some of the roles. Also, the main character’s vehicle is kinda like a batmobile.

This was a super easy, quick, and heart happy read. The characters had chemistry that you could see on the pages and imagine off the pages. It gave a strong female lead a strong male lead to compliment her. They work together instead of fighting with each other. It was a definite move from the normal young adult rom-com read.
This is perfect if you need a quick happy read where everything isn't terrible for the main characters the entire book.

Thanks to the publisher for letting me read an early copy through Netgalley.

Ok
This movie had plenty of potential. But I think it did what so many movies do and didn't give it an actual ending. The acting was decent. The effects and action aren't too bad, either. The story was ok but had a lot of predictable parts and not much in the way of surprise twists. It tried but they didn't come of well. Over all this was not a terrible 'alien invasion' movie. But could've been much better. All in all it's worth a watch if you're bored.

Disgusting for the sake of being disgusting...but don't even bother with his one.
Seriously don't even bother with this one it is always on every to hard to watch movie list out there and it, while it is hard to watch it only is because I'm at least a halfway decent human being and while I've watched so fucked up things I draw the line at using pedophilia as a means to shock an audience, plus the acting is terrible and there really isn't even a plot.

I had heard about this on the Ray Peacock podcast. It just sounds awful for no other reason than to be awful and get people talking about how awful it is, which we are doing. Dammit.

I didn't know if this movie was going to be completely terrible, or completely hilarious. It was mostly hilarious. For starters, the cast was stacked. I love Charlize Theron in everything, and her character was a boss, and my favorite scene in the movie is when she's giving herself a pep talk in the car. David Oyelowo was so funny as Harold and he was so charming. Joel Edgerton was the perfect d-bag. I completely forgot Sharlto Copley was in this movie until he showed up, and his character was one of my favorites.

I am not normally a fan of books without a “proper” ending, however this book finishes in the perfect place.

It follows Mia after a terrible car accident when she then has to decide is she wants to stay. The book is written very well between what is happening now and previous events from Mia’s life.

This book will make you think about life and death and how you would cope with certain situations.

Very exciting, it would appear there is a sequel set a few years later.
