"As obtuse as this whole list may be, what drew me to Chromeo was their name. Being a hot-rod head and a car fanatic, I loved the name. It could have been a terrible record and I would have loved it, because you ain't got nothing unless you got a lot of chrome.   My taste doesn't run too far into dance or disco but in the grand scheme of things, and for those who are attempting to perceive what ZZ Top is, it's good on occasion to find an unexpected surprise. On occasion we'd be lumped in with southern rock bands, but we're really not – it's Texas. Which is quite a bit different. Texas is down south, but it's certainly a far cry from South Carolina or Alabama or Georgia."

A Good Follow Up

With Season One being such a hit I was worried about whether or not the second season would be able to keep up. Although the storyline and continued family drama met all of my expectations I was sad to find that the music didn't hold up. Although it isn't terrible it was clear that the music targeted a more mainstream audience woth continued pop hits and only a few really good songs scattered throughout. Seeing as the whole show centers around music I was expecting more. However, I look forward to what season three will hold as the show itself contained a wonderful storyline that I look forward to seeing develop further.

Ok so after seeing the nicely executed movie blood father starring Mel Gibson, I honestly thought this was gonna be another decent movie in his comeback.

Instead what we actually got was a ridiculously Slow, Boring, slightly Violent, Intense in-car talking, Graphic, Forgettable let down.

Also starring vince Vaughn who should seriously stick to terrible comedies (except for Dodgeball) this is a movie that may or may not be about consequences of you actions and so bad you'll ask yourself once again why Gibson won't say yes to lethal weapon 5?

I mean come on, we paid to see die hard 5, we'll pay to see whatever crap that throws at us.....
