Good survival horror
Absolutely loved this book. I think what i liked most is the fact of when its written and when its based. With it being late 1970's there are no computers, internet or mobile phones to help people. Its brilliantly written and you really get a feel for the hopelessness and terror that people would have felt. Good story and excellent character development. What stood out is though there is a main character, he never comes across as angelic or a person that is going to save the world, like a super hero. He is just a man with a daughter who he would do anything to save, and i mean anything :)

Starting to become tedious
Quite a standard horror flick, filling in the gaps of the original @Annabelle (2014) film and the first @The Conjuring (2013) film on the origins of the haunted doll. No doubt, there are moments which are sinister, but overall, it fares less on the terror scale than others in this franchise.

It follows the story of a doll maker's family and the tragic loss of their young daughter after a car accident. In a bid to move on, they open their home 12 years later to a group of orphans, with serious consequences.

The idea as been explored many times before and done with varying degrees of success. The chill factor is very low but the story line moves at a steady enough pace to keep you watching.

Macra
Watched last night it's not bad not one of the best doctor who's from the sixties due to the budget but we will get to that but first the story. For years this and many other who's had been missing from the BBC archive due to alot of episodes being junked destroyed especially the macra terror where it's been totally destroyed till now. Now a new audience can watch it for the first as an animated feature and it looks good the acting from Patrick troughton is getting into his stride finally after five adventures with support from his companions. Now to the macra they look so much more now scary than they did originally due to budget hope some day they will animate more lost who's we can dream

We remember...
The Holocaust.

Those words bring into mind images of destruction, devastation and death. Broken families, broken homes and broken lives; the terror inflicted by Hitler and his minions were cold and unthinking. The prisoners in those camps were treated not like humans, not even like animals but as 'mistakes' or 'messes' that could be cleaned up without a second thought.

In his mind, Hitler thought he was right. He or his followers did not express any guilt or remorse at taking so many lives and for me, that is far worse. To the Nazis, they were correct and were fulfilling their duty. It is scary what can be accomplished when people believe so strongly in a certain ideal.
