Now I can’t shake the feeling that I’ve subconsciously been a bit racist all my life. It’s actually a good thing, but it makes me feel bad. (0 more)
Yeah, um... holy shit.
This movie kicked my ass. Amazing.

Loved this show when I was younger. I started rewatching it on Disney +. Gargoyles come to life every night and work with a cop to protect the city. After 2 or 3 seasons the story changed and i lost Intrest. Still a good show for kids though.

Moving and heartwarming
Find this one on hulu. A very interesting, enjoyable story about a young girl dealing with her life in a very unique way. The story unfolds very well and the ending is very moving. The special effects in this movie are really good and the young actress did a great job. This is a good family movie you can see with the kids. Really worth a watch, but be prepared(some of you) for tears.

Quick but obvious read
DS Ian Peterson is investigating a brutal stabbing in a park that opens a chain of events resulting in further killings. The suspect is obvious and clearly isn't worried about being found out.

Ian is a good character with the usual home life issues of a detective, although probably not as tragic as some. There were parts where I felt the focus was a little too strong on his home life particularly when written from his wife's perspective.

I like the dynamic of colleagues and felt it was believable. The writing was good. The story was a little basic and obvious.

This exceptional movie reminds viewers to not repeat the mistakes of past generations. It was a reminder that there are often good intentions that go misjudged. And it was a reminder that life, and often even within families, takes all kinds.

Haven't seen it yet but it was filmed where I live.

Quick read. Interesting look into the life of an EMS/Paramedic. Not what I expected but it was good nonetheless. Made me see why I find jobs such as these so fascinating to read about.

Author wrote with humor and candor.

"Passion and joy are effortlessly married here. I heard a quote from Renoir to the effect that it’s most important to make the viewer believe that there is life beyond the frame; what an awesome definition of filmmaking! I also love his quote about the tragedy in life being that we ALL have our good reasons for all we do. This man loved people and explained them with such veracity; lift your leg high and you’ll know!"

I read this book with my 7th graders as part of their unit on Identity in the Middle Ages. Overall it was interesting and did a fairly good job of interspersing fact with fiction. The pictures also really helped add to the story. I would have liked to see a bit more purpose in the overall plot, but for the most part this is a good book for middle schoolers wanting to know what life might've been like for them in the 13th century.

James McAvoy (0 more)
My first thoughts while watching this: baby James McAvoy was so cute, and is this real life? These extreme African leaders are sort of the butt of jokes all of the time, but you think, surely this couldn't be real life.
This film is told from the perspective of McAvoy's character. Whittaker's portrayal of Idi Amin was interesting. Though this movie is pretty good, you only really need to watch it once.
