Very good film (true story) about a southern white family takes in a homeless black child - teaches him about life and makes him welcome. Sandra Bullock is brilliant as the feisty mum, the little boy was good too (don't know the actor's name). Good family viewing and yes it might make you cry.

Usually in my opinion the first film in a series is the best. I feel that's true for the cars series. However this is still a great feel good film. Great for kids and adults. I love the addition of more characters and more environments beautifuly tweaked from reality to fit in to the alternate world of cars. It fits well with real life, with the retirement of all the race cars and the new intake of youth. Very entertaining with an underlayer of life lessons.

"I looked at it recently again. Some flaws but overall it's good with a sort of strength to it about how people in their various placements get through life, with what deceptions and with what jokes. All the actors are good, especially Andie. Good actors are important, like good shoes, as one of the characters (Malko) says."

Good animation, storyline easy to follow, some good humour (0 more)
Good for a kids film
After seeing the secret Life of pets, I felt I needed to then see the second one. We opted for the new odeon luxe that has opened. I feel that this may have contributed to an increased score. The storyline was good, no prolonged intro which was great for the kids. Some scary moments which my daughter wasn't too impressed with but every movie needs its ups and downs! Some excellent humour and some excellent correlation to real life (fox in the farm, cone of shame). Overall, something just didn't hit the spot to say it was fantastic, however overall a good film

This wasn't anything spectacular but it was a good introduction into the life of Rebecca. It is short but worth the $.99 that I paid for it.

"I had the very good fortune of happening upon A Moveable Feast when I was visiting Paris, the backdrop of Hemingway’s most biographical book. May we all live at least one day as Ernest did! In this memoir of his time in Paris in the 1920s, he romanticizes a period in his life when he had very little by celebrating good books, good wine, and good friends."

Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)

A classic about high school and enjoying life.
Classic lines, good drama, you really feel the tension of life with these characters except with Ferris, who lightens the whole film with exuberance. Great escapism. plus a great alternate movie poster.
