I received this book on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was just what I was needing. I have been reading many dark and depressing novels so when I had a chance to read this book, I knew it was fate. Life in the Sloth Lane is a book that has adorable sloths and some good inspirational quotes. It was almost like I wasmeditating when I was reading. It calmed me down, made me smile and I even learned new facts about sloths.

If you enjoy sloths, need some time just to breathe, and like learning something new, this is the book for you. Seriously, it is adorable.

So I kind of love this series. But I will put a note that it is super religious. And I mean if you don’t like books that push belief in God and his plan, probably just don’t read. If you can get past that it’s a solid idea that is just a great read. See below for a prize pack picture( authors can be awesome).

Should you read? Can you get past the religious obsessed book? Then probably. It’s a good after life after story that has a pretty awesome romance. But again it’s all about following and belief in God as the underlying theme.

"Obviously Bruce is an icon at this point with many incredible records but to me this is my favourite. I remember reading somewhere that Bruce Springsteen wanted to make the greatest record of all time and he obviously was trying to tap into Phil Spector with that big wall of sound. With 'Born to Run' he tapped into that whole New Jersey 'we gotta get outta here, there's gotta be a better life somewhere' type of world and he really painted those pictures with his lyrics. To me he's almost like a novelist who paints those stories and I think the record still sounds really good."

The Board game brought to life
Alex Hopper is a Lt in the Navy and is about to be kicked out after a fight with another countries commander during RIMPAC (A series of naval exercises to determine who is the best) When all of a sudden a group of UFO's come crashing down and seal his destroyer and a few other ships is an barrier. He needs to figure out a way to defeat these beings and restore order to the sea. What better way than to have a system that involves the rules of the great board game Battleship.

Movie has a good cast with Kitsch, Rianna,Skarsgard and Decker. The storyline and plot however is very cheesy and you can figure out what is gonna happen before it does. Some of the action sequences make this movie at least a one time watch. Also has a decent soundtrack

Mrs. Pollifax teams up with her old friend Farrell and heads to Jordan to smuggle out a manuscript about life in Iraq under Saddam Hussein. Their mission is complicated when someone - the wrong someone – seems interested in them. Might it have something to do with Mrs. Pollifax’s seatmate from the plane?

Welcome back to the late 90’s and the penultimate Mrs. Pollifax adventure. Things get off to a great start, but unfortunately Mrs. Pollifax isn’t a driving force in most of the climax. That’s only a minor complaint because any time spent with Mrs. Pollifax is plenty of fun, and that holds true again here. The characters, new and old, are a delight. And the book provides a good reminder of the political situation of 20 years ago.
