This is the one. Notorious for it nude swimming scene and Jane’s revealing two piece number, this is the one which pushes the freedom of studios to breaking point and helped usher the Heyes code as it would be weaved into the fabric of American films for decades to come.

But this aside, this is a genuinely good sequel. More intense than the first, though as many of these films will, literally recycle action scenes from the first, the characters are developing, the story feels like it is progressing quite naturally from its predecessor and the tone is as erotic as it promises.

The kinky and untempered behavior of our leads is what the film is promising, an takes on life in the steamy jungle, away from the trappings of western life, certainly in the midst of the then, “Great Depression”. But this was where it was going to end as the studios wings were about to be clipped…

Enchanted
Enchanted is a Disney Film released in 2007.
It’s a very underrated film that no one talks about anymore but it is by far one of my favourites.
It tells the story about Giselle, a typical Disney princess from Andalasia that is about to marry Prince Edward that she just met and believes he is her true love when she’s forced into the real world in New York City where she meets Robert and his daughter that help her trying to find Edward again.. With all of this she starts learning about how real life actually works and that is not a fairy tail. Although they still show a happy ending Disney make it a more realistic happy ending.

Do you remember the Monsters?
So the final series of what has been a classic show. No wonder it won so many awards and accolades. This series has Dexter trying to balance his life along with his dark passenger. After the ending of the last series how will his relationship with Deb be effected. So it feels slightly different to the majority of the previous series formats. It's still very good although the final episode and ending was rather disappointing to an excellent show. Let's wait and see where the new series picks up.

Silent suspense
Maddie (Kate Siegel) is a deaf writer, living a “quiet” life in the woods, secluded and alone, trying to heal after the breakdown of her last relationship.

Queue the bad guy played by John Gallagher Jr... and what follows is an 82 minute, interesting game of cat and mouse.

It’s a fresh take on the standard home invasion/slasher movie genre with the added element of her disability. Expect some great scenes, good acting from the small cast involved and no complicated storyline.

Try to overlook the inconsistencies, the plot holes and occasional predictability.

Thought-provoking but predictable
I really enjoy Matt Haig's writing, both his fiction and his non-fiction, and I couldn't wait to read The Midnight Library - a sci-fi-esque, life affirming story about books is right up my street. And overall, this was worth the wait.

Nora is an endearing and relatable protagonist whose life hasn't turned out the way she wanted, and her list of regrets could fill a whole book (literally as we find out). She decides to end her life and winds up in the Midnight Library, a place that allows her to visit an unending number of alternative lives that resulted from her making different decisions. Now who hasn't wished they could change their past, make a different decision and wonder where they would've ended up? This book is definitely for those that have ever wished this and it's a dream I enjoyed reading.

The problem is that it's very predictable. I knew exactly how this was going to end from the very beginning and whilst the ending is heartwarming and very life affirming, it's a tiny bit of a let down. Which is a shame as the journey through Nora's lives is actually quite interesting.

There's a good message in this about living and appreciating your own life, but I just wish this wasn't so predictable.
