Handsomely made and very well acted, The Beguiled is a somewhat taut thriller, but one that suffers greatly from having all the edges softened off the source material.

A very powerful racial thriller with great courtroom action, outstanding acting from the leads in what may seem to be a cliched and somewhat formulaic script that may seem to somewhat glorify vigilante justice. I enjoyed this one although I understand it was divisive upon it's release.

Tautly directed thriller from Fincher with Foster and Stewart as mother and daughter fresh from a divorce and having to deal with 3 would be burglars to their new house, which happens to have a safe room which gives them temporary respite, enjoyable, tense and very entertaining.
