Safe House- is a decent action thriller with a great supporting cast. Denzel charcter's always have cool names.

The plot: For the past year, rookie CIA agent Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds) has been eager to prove himself while cooling his heels at an inactive South African post. He gets the chance when Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington), a turncoat operative, is brought to Weston's safe house for debriefing. But soon after Frost's arrival, mercenaries attack, and Weston and Frost barely escape with their lives. The two men must join forces and try to stay alive long enough to figure out who wants them dead.

Like i said before its a decent to good action thriller with a great supporting cast.

3000 Miles to Graceland- is a good crime thriller. I know it got bad reviews, nominated for five different raspberries and laughable, but i liked it.

The plot: It's International Elvis Week in Las Vegas, where the strip is flooded by a sea of King wannabes decked out in jumpsuits and sideburns. But five of the impersonators swaggering into the Riviera Hotel are toting heavy weaponry in their guitar cases. It's the heist of a lifetime, orchestrated by ex-con Michael (Kurt Russell) and his cunning former cellmate, Murphy (Kevin Costner). The crooked Elvises steal away with $3.2 million, leaving the hotel in ruins and a high body count in their wake.

It has a good cast and intresting thriller.

slow, tedious, thriller
To be honest I was very disappointed with this book. I read the back and thought it sounded interesting and intriguing. The plot sounded good and as I had never read a John Grisham novel, I thought why not. It took me over 6 months to read because I found it boring and it really dragged on. When I read a thriller, I at least expect some modicum of violence or the odd descriptive murder, this lacked any. It went along so slow until the ending (which was unrealistic to me) was a welcome. If this is an indication of his writing then I think I will steer clear.
