This is a twisty and intriguing thriller that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Eve narrates books for a living and when a book surfaces from an author that disappeared months ago and Eve is asked to narrate it, she jumps at the chance. Having received the book by email, Eve realises something's not quite right with it and so begins Eve's quest to find out just what happened to the missing author but what she finds, is far more than she expected.
With excellent characters, an enthralling plot and twists that surprise, this is a great book and Ms Slater is fast becoming one of my go-to authors.
A twisty, psychological thriller that I devoured in quick time and thanks must go to Bookouture and NetGalley for enabling me to read and share my thoughts of The Narrator.

Great actors
Great crime thriller
A very good film, if slightly drawn out, that follows the story of the Zodiac killer of the 70's around San Francisco. The fact it is all based on true events and evidence will hook you in even more. It can be a bit slow but if you like cat and mouse thrillers you should like this.

Of course, I read the book first, so I was aware of how everything ended up shaking out at the end. Emily Blunt did a fantastic job with the character, and I felt like she was a good fit. I was glad some things were changed from the book, because I felt like some of it was completely unnecessary. It was a solid thriller.

Good revenge thriller
An often overlooked film with an all star cast, about a tale of revenge. Mel has to deal with con artists, bent cops, organised crime bosses and Lucy Liu as a domanatrix to get revenge on those who double crossed him. Quite violent at times but a cracking film. You'll like it if you enjoyed A history of violence or Running scared.

So many twists and turns
One of my favourite Thrillers
A gripping thriller with lots of plot twists and turns. You'll be hooked in minutes. Great Actors with a great well written story. If you love cat and mouse thrillers with the Fbi, profilers trying to unravel the clues, then this is a must watch.

Flimsy story, almost comedic
While this story was extremely engaging for its genre and content, it started off with the mystery of a psychological thriller and ended up becoming like a 1970's hammer horror. It couldn't hold itself in the end and the description of the "thing" reminded me of a Sam Raimi style boring gorefest. A bit of a disappointment after 14 hours of listening.
