Interaction between the characters
LOKI
After my first viewing of this movie, I wanted to watch it all over again. I loved the interaction between the characters, especially that they all didn't get along right away, that the relationships had to be worked on so that they could be civil with one another.
My only problem was the weird dissonance I got about half-way through. I felt like I was watching two movies: a mystery thriller and an action movie. Perhaps it was just because the action really ramped up after that point.

An apocalyptic world with the last of humanity riding a super train through a frozen wasteland. The passengers are thrown into a caste system where the poor ride the back of the train in filth and squalor while the rich live a happy well fed life at the front. Now it's up to Chris Evans to lead his gang of poor outcasts to the front of the train fighting their way through carriages of violent surprises and deadly passengers on the way. This is a thriller you'll want to watch again and again until theres' no nails left for you to bite.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a very quick read and made me want to keep reading. I did have to stop a few times to calm my nerves back down. I feel like this is a book that will stay with me for a while, it makes you think twice about trusting people. It also shows that what you see is not always what you get and if something appears too good to be true, it probably isn't true. I am very happy that I read this book and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great thriller.

Thoroughly enjoyed this, it was lovely to relive that 80’s movie vibe. If you enjoy ‘Stranger Things’ then you may enjoy this too, although the storyline is nowhere near as in depth as ‘Stranger Things.’
Well acted, the film takes things slowly but tension soon mounts, and ultimately leads to tragedy, and a very dark ending. I’m pleased the ending wasn’t a cop out, as this makes a refreshing change in this genre of movie.
More thriller than horror, it makes a change to watch something that’s obviously had a lot of thought and passion go into it. Well worth a watch.

Beautiful writing
I loved the writing in this book, it's the first Val McDermid book I've read and it won't be my last.
The character creation and development in the first part of the book as really engaging. I was fully pulled in Scotland in the late 1970s and into the group of friends as their relationship altered as events affected them.
I did fell it started to drag a bit in the second part but really picked up pace for the end and would recommend for anyone wanting a character driven crime thriller.

A decent survival drama/thriller as a group of men try to survive a plane crash in the Alaskan wilderness with a pack of Wolves on their trail. Neeson seems to be the flavour of the year at present and does another good job here. The only problem is the story is a little bleak and tries to carry a message about death and the afterlife as well. Which starts fairly subtle before cropping up quite regularly towards the end. It has a very short scene after the credits as well. Reminded me of The Edge as well.

I wouldn't class this as a Horror, if you're expecting one and that might expect some of the low ratings. A 12a rating is another sign normally. This is definitely more of a thriller in the mould of Disturbia, Rear Window. Jennifer Lawrence can do no wrong at present and is very good in this. The twist(s) are pretty good, if a little easy to predict, but it still makes for an interesting film. You can tell they thought about the overall visual look of the film as well, it has some cool making of features to.

A good debut from Renee Knight
At surface level, this is a really good psychological suspense/thriller book. However, you will find flaws if you look deeper. I couldn't really relate to any characters, I didn't particularly like or become attached to any of them, but the multi-layered family conflict was good and realistic.

A brilliant film and great ending....for now at least to this trilogy. Dark, gritty and brutal it doesn't feel like a comic book action hero film. It's more a harsh crime thriller! I thought Anne Hathaway was well cast as Catwoman as is Tom Hardy as Bane. The only problem I had was understanding everything Bane said through his face mask, at times the voice doesn't seem to match the villain? Only small minor gripes though, still I have to add The Dark Knight is still my favourite of the 3 with this a close second.
