"The deepest and most thrilling of all Japanese novels, which embodies the refined sensibility and historical burden of a nation just on the cusp of World War II. The novels of Kawabata, the Nobel prizewinner, are also dear to my heart, especially the Sound of the Mountain."

An addictive, thrilling, and delicious read! The Return kept me on the edge of the seat, torn between dread and dangerous curiosity as Elise came closer to the truth about Julie. It's filled with friendship, mystery, and horror. Lots and lots of horror. I freaking loved it.

It’s farce and poetry both, able to make thrilling gearshifts from poignant characterisation into madcap as the film spills onto the streets to create chase sequences worthy of Chuck Jones or Fred Quimby.

The ambition and aplomb of More Life is what makes pop music a thrilling cultural institution. The instinct to draw boundaries around and across pop is understandable and healthy

Awesome on Audiobook
The Girl on the Train on audio book with the 3 different voice actors was sensational. The main character is very depressing but it works really well for the story. It's like the ultimate girl drama that ends in murder. Intense.
