"It’s hard to pick which of Kurosawa’s films is my favorite, since they’re pretty much all top-ten worthy. But for sheer spectacle and beauty, Ran is pretty hard to beat. The cinematography is unreal, the acting heightened and emotional, and his use of music and sound (and the sometimes dramatic lack of it) shows a master at the top of his game. I’ve lived my life by the Kurosawa quote “An artist is one who never averts his eyes.” Make sure you don’t avert your eyes from this classic! (Yes, I just said that. You’re welcome, Criterion!)"

Nicolas cage's wildest adventures pt 1
Contains spoilers, click to show
The best part of this movie is nicolas cage he steals the show. Also sean bean as the villian and he doesnt die is a sin. Sean bean dies in every single movie he's in. So not letting him die in this film is a sin. Nicolas cage also steals the decloration of indepence at one pont because their is a treasure/map on the back, no biggy, not a problem for nicolas cage.

Whats next steal the statue of liberty, climb on top of the empire state buliding or climb on top of mount rushmore.

"I feel the need. The need... for speed!"

"This is what in call a target rich environment"

"Son, your ego is writing cheques your body can't cash"

1980s action classic (that I was all of 7 when it was released) starring a then up and coming (and young!) Tom Cruise as Maverick, the hotshot pilot who gets a shot at Top Gun: the military training school for the top 1% of naval pilots.

This has a great cast (Michael Ironside, Val Kilmer, Kelly McGillis, Tom Cruise himself) alongside some great aerial battles, but does drag in bits.
