Some action and some character backstory at long last
Again, this volume is split in two - we have the story of when Payback (one of the corporate machine's top money-makers) are sent to give The Boys a message, and end up getting their bottoms handed to them. This story is good fun, with some thrilling action, more ridiculous superheroes being walloped.
The second half gives us some well-deserved backstory for some of The Boys - MM, Frenchie and The Female all get their origin story. These are at time sobering (MM), and at other times just flat out hilarious (Frenchie), but all serve to put some meat on the bones of these unusual characters.

This book wasn't my favourite out of the series yes it had twists and turns quite a few i saw coming , I'm not the biggest fan of viktor and i don't like elizabeth.
Viktor ok ish but beth....... iv been through crap that should have sent me more bat shit crazy than beth and yes i know "she has the crazy genes" but her character for me was flat and i just didn't like her in it. Benny was still on top form as usual. I missed jade she was my fave from the start and she kinda faded out in this book x but as a whole it was an amazing ride (the whole series )

Playmobil: The Movie (2019)
Playmobil: The Movie (2019)
2019 | Adventure, Animation
I don't think this movie was as terrible as most of the reviews said it was. It's a kids' movie, about a sibling relationship, and basically, playing with a lot of the Playmobil sets together, as kids do. It was corny and dorky at times, but that's what made it fun. The "acting" was over the top at times, but it was how kids play with the characters. It definitely was silly, but I don't think it was awful. I laughed quite a bit. You just have to accept the play world of children when you watch it. It wasn't the best movie that I've seen, but it was still fun to watch.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017)
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017)

I didn't go into this expecting much
This movie was pleasantly surprising. In a world of continual reboots and retreads, it was a nice change of pace. The fact that the movie explored an entirely different aspect of the Jumanji game from the first movie was welcome.

The script was top notch. Each main character was well established and had good development throughout the movie. The humor is well balanced and the actors clearly gelled together well.

Was simultaneously upset and pleased by the fact that the trailers for the movie (to my recollection) made any effort to showcase Bobby Cannavale, who is in my opinion, by far the most skilled actor in the movie.
