Love the journey planner recent addition
No need for an A to Z
This is one of the most essential Apps and has replaced the need for a book or map. I don't use it that often or to it's full potential. For me it's a tool for checking how to travel from a to b and love the fact you can also check the street view in advance of where you are going to. Along with it also telling you which direction you are facing and travelling, you should never get lost again!

A return to form
I personally didn't love Nolan's last two efforts, (Interstellar and The Dark Rises,) but this is a return to form. This isn't Nolan telling an overly ambitious story about interdimensional space travel or a billionaire crime fighter, this is a story that actually happened. Although it feels epic in scope, this movie takes place in one location and it benefits from it. We get to see personal dramas and intimate conflicts and we feel like we are right there alongside the men on that beach. Also the sound design is utterly incredible.

Travel reporter Mallory Marlowe is off to Aspen, Colorado, to write an article aimed at non-skiers. Part of it will focus on former high school acquaintance Carly, founder of a fancy resort. But when Carly is murdered, Mallory finds herself investigating that as well. This is the second book in the series, and I enjoyed it as much as the first thanks to the real characters and strong plot. I'm going to have to start reading the author's other series.

A place to escape
Instagram is a good place to escape for a bit with nice pictures and videos of travel and fun things to do all over the world, or just a nice place to keep up with your friends or favorite celebrities. It's got a little bit for everyone and is pretty user friendly. You can add your own pictures or 60 second videos to your timeline or you can even add to a story in real-time. If you want to interact on the spot there is also a live feature. It's a great app for everyone.
