Second entry in Weis and Hickman's 'Dragonlance Chronicles' trilogy: a trilogy that is almost a rite of passage for nerds like me to read after we move on from Narnia, but before we reach The Lord of The Rings.

And, I have to say, this largely follows the same structure as the mid part of JRR Tolkien's magnus opus, with the companions split into several groups, and of on several inter-connected quests.

As with the first book in the series, the characters are largely cardboard cut-outs, with it being in the world building where the novel excels. Of the companions, I also know that we are meant to associate with Tanis Half-Elf the most (or Raistlin), but I have to say: I've always had a soft spot for Sturm Brightblade the most!

Honestly, I feel like this was my favorite game in the trilogy. I liked seeing a darker side to Lara and her coming to terms with a lot of her actions having consequences. I loved exploring the Amazon and seeing where the story took me. The optional tombs were interesting and the platforming felt like it had better controls here. It sounds silly, but I did like that I got to pat all the llamas in one area. I had a good time with the game because of the story, characters, and gameplay. I know there are comparisons to Uncharted which I have also played, but I like them both for different reasons. **SERIES SYNOPSIS**
In the game of chess, there are moves and countermoves. This sci-fi series follows a group of teens with abilities as they go through the U.S. to rescue their siblings. The challenger in this is their sadistic creator, Professor Noah Roth, who has the money and power to win at any cost. This series has been described as “Stranger Things (minus the Mind Flayer portion) meets X-Men.” Don’t miss a single installment of this explosive, action-packed series!

It's over, Anakin. I have the high ground!
The final part of the prequel trilogy, which at least - and in comparison to the sequel trilogy - had a clear vision and overarching narrative.

I remember going to see this in the cinema in '05.

I also remember there was a kid somewhere in the audience who didn't know Anakin became Vader.

Cue a shocked "noooo!" at that part of the film.

Anyway, the prequels had all been building to this; to the long awaited showdown between Obi-Wan and Vader, that ends with Vader encased in the suit.

It might take a while getting there, and it's maybe not *quite* up there with the Duel of the Fates from 'The Phantom Menace', bit it doesn't disappoint once it does!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017)
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017)
2017 | Action, Adventure, Fantasy
Also known as "Salazar's Revenge" (instead of "Dead Men Tell No Tales") in certain circles - I think maybe Dead Men is the American subtitle? - this is the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film, with Johnny Depp again reprising what is (for me) his most iconic role of the Pirate Captain Jack Sparrow.

This ties itself closer to the original trilogy than the last entry ("On Stranger Tides"), with the return of certain key characters from that trilogy 'bookending' the plot, and with a close familial tie to one of the key characters of this.

Indeed, we're also back to basics with the plot of a supernatural threat to Sparrow, and of his wish to reclaim the captaincy of the Black Pearl (his ship), ALONGSIDE the return of Captain Barbossa (yet again)...

May The Force Be With You: The End
Return of the Jedi- is the final movie out of the oringal trilogy. So is it my favorite one, no. The 4th one is my favorite one, it goes 4, 6, 5. It has good scenes like the battle between luke and the rancor, the battle planet desert beast, the battle on edor and the battle between Luke, Dark Vader and the Emperor.

The plot: Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) battles horrible Jabba the Hut and cruel Darth Vader to save his comrades in the Rebel Alliance and triumph over the Galactic Empire. Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) reaffirm their love and team with Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams), the Ewoks and the androids C-3PO and R2-D2 to aid in the disruption of the Dark Side and the defeat of the evil emperor.

I realize that these movie are slow, and it takes it time to build up suspense. Which can be good, but its bad because i fall alseep, cause its boring.

Other than that, Return of the Jedi, is the end of the oringal trilogy and a good end to a excellent trilogy.

May The Force Be With You.

Great Read
I have enjoyed this world and characters since the first Farseer trilogy. This was a great read. It felt like saying goodbye to old friends. The story was interesting and I cared about the characters a lot. Robin Hobb created a beautiful world with complex and fascinating characters and while the story was sad, it was a wonderful book.
