So I finished an awesome paranormal two books so far series, [b:Captive|30830592|Captive|Jex Lane|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1467474117s/30830592.jpg|51425133] and [b:Sire|32721063|Sire|Jex Lane|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1477076298s/32721063.jpg|52587454] and hunted for something to read similar and noticed that pretty much all my kindle books were contemporary romances. Then I decided to scour Amazon for new paranormal reads and this was a freebie!!

I am so glad I downloaded it! I loved pretty much everything about it. It had vampires, romance, action, sexual tension... and then a little shocker at the end!

I really need to read the rest of this trilogy!

"It could be 8½. I mean, 8 ½ to me is such a great dissertation on the whole, you know, act if filmmaking and creativity. And you can probably link it with Stardust Memories, because I love the way that Woody [Allen] did a take on it as well. I mean, it’s a little bit of a self examination of the act of making a film. [Reels off another long list of films] Apu. That’d be my fifth, if I didn’t get a fifth one. Satyajit Ray’s Apu trilogy — I just love those films; the way he uses scenery to create close-ups and wides, and just the emotion of it."

Stranger Things meets Slasher
Part one of this Horror trilogy on Netflix doesn't disappoint. Seems like it's been a good while since we had a decent modern slasher film. This feels like a 90's horror, and does well to set the scene for '94. It starts with a great pre title scene similar to films like Scream. The killer outfits look good, another very Scream like. The film slows in pace a little towards the end but overall it's very enjoyable. A long with a decent 90's soundtrack to top it off. Roll on part 2 next week.

The Bourne Ultimatum (2007)
The Bourne Ultimatum (2007)
2007 | Action, Drama, Mystery
The final part of the original Bourne trilogy, picking up directly from towards the end of the previous film (The Bourne Supremacy) in Russia, and overlapping - roughly 2/3rds of the was through - with the final scene from that film) "you look tired, Pam. Get some rest") and providing some new context to said scene.

This is the one with the tense stakeout/hide and seek in Waterloo Train station in London, and the foot race through the streets of Morocco as Bourne races to stop a fellow assassin who is targeting a key ally, and as he finally starts to remember more about his past.

I'm a little torn with this one. It's been a while since i read book 1 and I dont remember finding Rose so annoying in her teenage ways, yet at the same time i was sympathising with her since she was being treated like a little kid in some respects. I wasn't into the whole Rose/Jamie thing in this either; the pushing away and then doing something to pull her back into whatever kind of thing they had going on.

I'm sure I'll read the last book since it's a trilogy but it might be a while before i get around to buying it.

Forky (1 more)
Duke Caboom
Regular Characters not fully utilised (0 more)
Was expecting great things from this latest entry into the beloved franchise and though it had some delightful moments but ultimately it felt like a quick money grab by disney

The introduction of new characters like duke caboom and forky worked very well, but unfortunately regular characters like slinky, rex and the rest of the gang were hardly seen.

The story itself was nothing special, the idea that bonnie would fall in love with a fork over all the toys she had was a bit silly.Toy story 3 had the perfect ending to the trilogy and the series should have stopped there.
