End the curse
An OK end to a decent trilogy. We get to find out the origin of the Witch of Shadyside and her curse. The first half of the film I found incredibly slow and rather boring. Set in 1666 it takes a long while for anything interesting to happen. Although eventually we do find out the back story of the Witch.
This one doesn't really get going until near the end when we are back in '94 with the group trying to survive and end the curse once and for all. Worth persevering with to get to this section if you liked the first two films. Overall though the weakest of the 3 films.

So we finally get to the end of this trilogy and God, have there been some ups and downs, twists and turns. My head and my heart have hurt with this series. First, it was the mystery of what had happened in those eleven months she couldn't remember. Then it was remembering those months and falling for two guys at once (though I had a definite favourite). And then in this, the conclusion and happy ending for Hanna and whichever guy she finally chose.

And I was so VERY happy with her decision! It had always been him for me and I'm very happy that in the end they overcame every obstacle in their way to be together and to be so very happy.

WOW!

I was hooked with this early on, the first chapter alone sucked me in. I didn't entirely know what to expect when I started this, I just knew that several people I follow on here had given it good ratings and I thought, I want to try that! So I bought it and WOW!

The concept of the story is different, and I loved it. The writer/character in the story is called M.Pierce just like the author themselves and the end, where he says he's going to write their story for others to read...brilliant!

The epilogue has left me a little stumped, but considering it's a trilogy, I guess it's left it open to continue.

Can't wait for more!

I'm kinda peed off that I've spent God knows how many hours reading this series for that to be how the trilogy ends. Yeah, I gathered from the average rating that something happened that the readers weren't happy with but I didn't see that coming!

As a romance reader I'm definitely hacked off that it didn't end with sunshine and roses but at the same time I guess that with where the plot was going from the end of book 2 that there was no other way that it could end.

Being brutally honest, I'm just going to chuck out Insurgent and Allegiant and keep Divergent and think of it as a stand alone where Tris and Tobias live HEA.

After reading the John Dies at the End trilogy I knew that I would read everything that this author wrote. Even though I wouldnt say that action is a genre I like very much I knew I had to read this book and I am so glad that I did!

David Wong always makes characters feel real to the reader, they are filled with flaws just like everyone else and they are not supermodel level hot like most books would make their characters seem. I also just love his sense of humor. I can be assured, whenever I read a David Wong book, that I have absolutely no idea what madness is going to happen next.
