WOW!

I was hooked with this early on, the first chapter alone sucked me in. I didn't entirely know what to expect when I started this, I just knew that several people I follow on here had given it good ratings and I thought, I want to try that! So I bought it and WOW!

The concept of the story is different, and I loved it. The writer/character in the story is called M.Pierce just like the author themselves and the end, where he says he's going to write their story for others to read...brilliant!

The epilogue has left me a little stumped, but considering it's a trilogy, I guess it's left it open to continue.

Can't wait for more!

I'm kinda peed off that I've spent God knows how many hours reading this series for that to be how the trilogy ends. Yeah, I gathered from the average rating that something happened that the readers weren't happy with but I didn't see that coming!

As a romance reader I'm definitely hacked off that it didn't end with sunshine and roses but at the same time I guess that with where the plot was going from the end of book 2 that there was no other way that it could end.

Being brutally honest, I'm just going to chuck out Insurgent and Allegiant and keep Divergent and think of it as a stand alone where Tris and Tobias live HEA.

After reading the John Dies at the End trilogy I knew that I would read everything that this author wrote. Even though I wouldnt say that action is a genre I like very much I knew I had to read this book and I am so glad that I did!

David Wong always makes characters feel real to the reader, they are filled with flaws just like everyone else and they are not supermodel level hot like most books would make their characters seem. I also just love his sense of humor. I can be assured, whenever I read a David Wong book, that I have absolutely no idea what madness is going to happen next.
