Joker (2019)
Joker (2019)
2019 | Crime, Drama
This movie is more than just a look at society and the influence of the wealthy on the lower class. This is a great artistic rendering of a character from a comic series. This shows the true darkness of the joker and what has driven his insanity in all of the Batman movies/comics. While this is just one interpretation of the origins of the Joker I would say that it is the most important origin story in film to date. This doesn't focus on the typical good guy vs evil trope that is prevalent in most comic book adaptations in current film. It focuses on the psychological aspect of the character himself rather than the message that he tries to send in other adaptation. Which is an important aspect to his character that isn't often truly focused on. Most other movies just focus on his insanity rather than where it comes from. He is utter chaos because that's how he sees the world.

"I have an argument with people who say that the punk scene changed their lives. Nearly everyone I speak to says that the Clash were the most exciting and the most important group of the era. But without the Sex Pistols there wouldn't have been any Clash: end of story. And people claim that Chris Spedding played on the album [as uncredited session musician], but really it was Steve Jones, and he is one of the great rock & roll guitarists. And Lydon was streets ahead of everyone else. The Clash made great pop records and the Sex Pistols were a great punk group. And for me this is year zero, you can go back to the Stooges if you like but if you were a kid waiting for someone to kick against bands that I have listed like Genesis, then the Sex Pistols were it. They lit the touch paper. It's a cliché but it's true."

Author Gorman Hardy is hot on the trail of another bestseller and if half what's said about Malcasa Point is true, he's bound to make a killing. Petite and pretty Tyler and sexy Nora visit Malcasa full of expectation. But Malcasa Point is a place of pain, bestiality and death in The Beast House.

Well I have to say it’s 100% better than The Cellar! I can see from other reviews a lot of people agree on it. I found myself enjoying this. It was a classic horror in my opinion and there’s nothing wrong with a bit of classic. I enjoyed the captains story on Bobo it was very King Kong based except this was a rampant rabbit monster gone wild! A bit of cheese to keep a girl who loves horror happy.
