It’s a dangerously hot situation, filled with steamy sexual tension and cold business machinations. Can Caleb earn Bryan’s trust - and love??
Very much what you would come to expect of a Blaze Mills and Boon, with a hint of additional naughtiness. I generally view these as a quick read, palette cleanser between more heavier reading material. Tori is well known in the MB world for her good writing. This one whilst well written was lacking in something special. I struggled to like the characters, and the storyline is missing something that I can’t put my finger on.
Not the worst I have read, but far from being the best.

Bluffing and Bribing are encouraged in this game. It's how you win and learn who your real friends are. Are they lying about bribing you with a free contraband if you don't check their bag? Is it really in their bag? Should you take it or check them anyway? Such a hard choice.
Make and lose friends in this game which is sure to become a classic as it grows in popularity with your group. My and my friends love it! There is deffinently some strategy in there as to what to bring to market and when but there is also a bit if luck as to whether you will get checked or not. Either way the game is a blast and I recommend it to any group as it plays a decent size group.
Our protagonist is in an agreed polygamist relationship with Seth and two other women all of whom know of the other's existence but not who they are. Seth splits his time between the 3 and all seems happy in her world until she decides to look into who the other women are. This is the part of the book that worked for me and it sounds crazy enough so trust me when I say it then goes off the hinges but not in an enjoyable way.
I slogged through until the even less satisfying end - sorry not for me.
Many thanks to the author, publisher, and Netgalley for the ARC.

Jayne Frost is a lot of things. Winter elf, Jack Frost’s daughter, Santa Claus’s niece, heir to the Winter Throne and now…private investigator. Sort of.
Needing someone he can trust, her father sends her undercover to Nocturne Falls to find out why employees at the Santa’s Workshop toy store are going missing.
Doing that requires getting to know the town, which leads to interesting encounters with a sexy vampire, an old flame, and an elevator that’s strictly off-limits. The more Jayne finds out, the more questions she has, but the answers lead her deeper into danger.
Will her magic save her? Or will she come up cold?
First of all I don't think I've read anything like this ever! I found it so bizarre at first I really couldn't get my head round Jack frost and uncle Kris 🤣. But once into it I loved it! I think Jayne is brilliant! The whole idea was so refreshing I definitely need to start the Nocturne series too!
