A sometimes fun, mainly mediocre teen horror
I didn't expect much going into Truth or Dare, and I got what I expected.
The concept is kind of cool, although it's a very slight variant and knock off of Final Destination.

It's low on scares (it's one of these more recent PG-13 horrors, to appeal to a wider audience after all), and as a result, shies away from any impactful violence or shocks.
The script is pretty laughable and the ending is dumb for sure, to the point that I kind of found myself accidentally enjoying it at times.

The acting is pretty sub par from most of the cast, as well as the characters being (mostly) selfish and unlikable, it's hard to care when they slowly get picked off.

I'd say it's maybe worth a one off watch, it's not the worst way to spend part of your day, but it's a by the numbers teen horror, with stabilisers firmly in place

A great indie horror film
Ryan Kiser rocks!!!
Gory, disturbing and a helluva good time
I waited five years to see this movie, and it was totally worth it.
Jessica Cameron co-wrote and directed a worth wile addition to the horror genre.
It's hard to believe this was her first stab at directing. Pardon the pun folks, but stab is exactly what happens in this movie.
I had never heard of Ryan Kiser before this film, but he portrays an obsessed fan with psychotic gusto only equivalent to that of veteran horror actors.
Cameron, Dorff and the rest of the cast envelop them selves in their characters so much, and the camera work is so simple that it makes the disgusting game of Truth or Dare seem realistic and unstaged.
After reading the reviews for this splatterfest I can see how some people who are not horror hounds would be repulsed by this movie.
Myself, I brought an open mind and honestly didn't expect what I saw. But as a horror fanatic and self proclaimed horror movie GOD, I am in love with the concept of this film.
It brought obsession to a new height. It makes the viewer see that people can become so enthralled in other people's lives, that they can become obsessed with what they view.
Jessica Cameron deserves the spoils she received for her debut movie.
In this writers opinion this movie is the beginning of an amazing career for her as both a writer and director.
Big Studios take notice. This indie Queen is coming at you all with her nails out. I hope this is the first of many movie from her disturbed mind.

NEW NEBRASKA HEAT is the second full-length novel in the New Nebraska series, and features a new quintet of Serenity, Hunter, Bryce, Sebastian, and Dagger.

Serenity escaped from a vampire's den, traumatised and scarred in more ways than one. She gets a job at Hunter's nightclub, but applies for a job as a designer at Bryce's company. She meets Sebastian through his mum, and Dagger through an ongoing case. All four men feel a connection with Serenity, but all four also take it slowly and carefully, taking into consideration her past.

This is a long book, but well-paced, with plenty of action going on, as well as slower, softer times, where Serenity and her men get to know each other. I loved the game of Truth or Dare, especially Dagger's dare at the end. I was hoping that because of the bond, Bryce would be able to touch others too, not just Serenity, but it doesn't seem that way.

One big plus for me was getting to see Cece and her men again. It was a delight catching up with them, and I'm glad Cece and Serenity are friends.

The overall storyline in this book has more of an ongoing arc to it, and I wonder if Jasper and the new human will play a part in the next book, or if it will go in a different direction.

This was a hot, caring, and action-filled story that kept my attention from beginning to end. Absolutely recommended by me.
