Obsessed book reviews (49 KP) rated One To Watch Me (The ONE Series, Part 1, Book 1) in Books
May 7, 2019
This is the first book by this author that I've read. I fell in love with the characters from the first page. The characters have amazing chemistry. I was hooked from the first page with this book. The mixture of hot and steamy scenes, twist and turns and some suspense make this an amazing story. a slight cliff hanger ending so be warned. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

The movies use of cinematography and camera angles help emerse people into Haddonfield once again (1 more)
Along with a decent plot which is better then most movies in this long running franchise
Some of the characters are absolutely forget able such as the psychologist of Loomis replacement was only their as a plot point other then that he served no purpose and the twist that "he wants to (1 more)
know whats it like to kill" I beleven serves no purpose
Halloween (2018) a return to form

The first three-quarters of this book was brilliant. The scenes were set perfectly, the suspense was building to crazy proportions and my heart was racing at times. The book was let down by it's ending and the introduction of Vic. I wanted there to be a twist, the first one, where we learn of the relationship between Ashley and Mark was good and unexpected, but the second one, the addition of Vic, was poor and ineffective. A pretty good book overall but could've been better.

I loved this book! Again, this is usually not my type of genre that I read, but I was so intrigued by the plot that I had to read it!!
It is definitely an amazing read. It had me so confused throughout the book trying to piece everything together.
Definitely a well written book. There's even another twist thrown in at the very end!! This is definitely one of my top books!!
I will be reading more books by Linwood Barclay in the future.

Gisell Middleton (189 KP) rated Sister of Mine in Books

This novel, which has fire as a central theme, is a slow burn (pun very much intended). At times it seemed to be infused with drudgery and despair, not only due to the depressing topics of domestic abuse and betrayal, but also because of the main characters’ inability to really understand their feelings and emotions. That being said, the climax does not disappoint as it brings about truths and twists long taken for granted since the first few pages.
Dork_knight74 (881 KP) rated Ex Machina (2015) in Movies
Jul 31, 2018 (Updated Jul 31, 2018)
Found another great sci-fi drama/ thriller on Netflix called "Ex Machina"(not Netflix exclusive). The acting and cinematography were really good. The story unfolds beautifully and ends with a really good twist. This is a really thought provoking movie about technology and keeps you interested throughout. Alicia Vikander was amazing. She played her part perfectly. There is some full frontal female nudity, but not sex(deals with robots that look human). Not really for kids, but this one is really worth a watch!
A usual and interesting book
This book is about data and how newspapers and politicians manipulate it to make things appear negative as that's what works best for their viewpoint. Hans talks about how to stop data that isn't interpreted correctly as well as discussing the progression the world has made. Their is a sad twist at the end of the book so do read it all the way through.
Andrew Sinclair (25 KP) rated The Good Place in TV
Nov 23, 2019
The Good Place is a fun, silly and surreal sit-com about redemption. It is set in an after life where only good people go. But the main character is not a particularly good person and realises she doesn't belong there. This realisation takes her on a journey of self-improvement so can stay in The Good Place. However there is a mind-blowing twist at the end of season one that changes everything. It's a rare thing to have a thought provoking sitcom.
