I like the ward, dont get me wrong but its a good movie. It mess with you mind with twist and turns thought the movie. John carpenter comes back into the directors chair after almost 9 years gone after the failure of ghost of mars. John carpenter comes back into the pschological theme. This movie could of been more. Their are good parts in it, good jump scaries and amber heard was good. Other than that it was bad. Like i said it could of been more.

Horror fans should watch it, because in my mind it is a underrated horror film. Directed by a horror icon.

Great artwork (2 more)
Dark yet comical storylines
Another great twist on your avarage superhero GN
It didn't carry on directly with main the storyline (2 more)
It may be somewhat insulting to a more delicate reader
Not as strong a storyline as the previous volume
Brilliantly Controversial
I did enjoy this volume, but felt the first part of the storyline wasn't as strong as Volume 1 of the boys and may have been aimed at getting more of a shock value from the controversial content than actually carrying on with the main story objective.

The second part however certainly left me wanting to carry on with the series and excited to read the next installment of the series.

The Lawsons bought a house before the boom and are now sitting ‘asset rich’ in a leafy London suburb. Fi Lawson arrives home one afternoon to find her house has been sold and new people are moving in. Her estranged husband Bram has disappeared, and she is facing this chaos alone. Candlish opens with this almost farcical beginning and pulls you into the story. Things take a darker turn when Fi starts to relay her situation on a popular radio podcast. This timeline is spliced between paragraphs of a letter from Bram. As both sides of the story unfold and both characters think they know all the facts, this novel is an interesting twist on domestic noir. Thoroughly enjoyable.

This is the story of Caitlin and Charlie's son, as he grows up and becomes a man. You stay with him as he trains with Alice, as he meets and trains with the Grandmaster and how his whole life has revolved around him saving his mum from the ICSC. As this is Sean/Shilin's story, there is not a lot going on with Alice or Charlie and definitely not with Caitlin but even so, this book follows seamlessly. It is full of action with many a twist and turn to keep you attentive. There is romance with a question but it doesn't overpower the story.

I was looking forward to reading this book and haven't been disappointed.

As a turn of the century romance book fan, it ticks all the boxes. (0 more)
Now I can see a pattern with Dilly Court. The endings are abrupt. (0 more)
Another sweet one, another abrupt end
The endings of Dilly Court's books seem to just end with questions left unanswered. It can be left quite easily (as they have done, annoyingly) however, they have been left in a way they can also have a sequel written without much scrambling. I'm a romantic so these kind of books I love completely, it ticks the boxes I'm looking for and it also had a twist that left me considering not sleeping last night so I could finish it!
