Not bad
This twisted tale wasn't too bad. It had decent acting, ok cinematography and an interesting story. A little slow paced at times but a few twists in the plot kept it interesting along with a pretty decent "creep" factor throughout. Not the greatest horror story ever told but definitely a unique one for a dark night. Witches and demons and betrayal will keep your interest to the end. Worth a watch.
A worthy adaptation of an excellent comic
A really enjoyable, filthy, dark and funny series. Some excellent portrayals of really twisted characters and a great real world take on what would happen if superheroes were real. A number of liberties were taken (Hughie not being Scottish for one, Karl Urban's accent for another) but all in all a really brilliant TV show that ended too soon, but clearly has so much more to come.

Descriptive Morsel
I've never read any of this author's work but after getting a glimpse into his deviant mind I will say that I will definitely be reading more of his wicked reads. This dark and twisted short story was over way too quickly as I found myself captivated by this descriptive morsel of a tale. Be prepared to experience what feels like a full-length book all packed into this short story.

It's been a while since i read the first three books in this series but i remember loving them in their twisted ways so a chance to jump back into the world of Tarrick and Matthew was a big YES!
Though Matthew is only mentioned in passing, Tarrick, Sam and Jet take centre stage. It was a fun little romp and has got me very excited for the next book in the series!

Ari Augustine (10 KP) rated The Voice in My Head in Books

The Voice In My Head is tragic, beautiful, emotional, poignant, twisted....and pretty much every feeling you can think of. It's hard to put into words how much I struggled with the heavy topic....and yet loved it, because it make me laugh and cry, love and hate, and just so many things in between.
It's the kind of book that ruins you, really. But in unexpected -- somewhat wonderful and woeful -- ways.
