Wow
What a surprisingly fantastic movie. The cast performed great and the cinematography was beautifully done. The story was unique and twisted and captivating. The "backtracking " sequences were masterful. So many twists and turns(some expected, most not) that kept my attention throughout the entire film. While it had some disturbing visuals and somewhat grotesque scenes this horror film was definitely more psychological than anything. Quite the revenge story! Be warned, this one isn't for kids! REALLY worth a watch!!

What if women could find a way to teach men how to behave properly? Well, Eric Garcia (yes, a man) came up with one idea, and he wrote about it long before the #MeToo movement. This novel has been called “Sex and the City meets Misery,” as well as a “brilliantly twisted take on chick lit,” and you can see what I think of it in my review here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2013/12/14/teaching-men-manners-is-no-laughing-matter/

A fun frolic with the Gods of our time
Not my favourite Gaiman book but still a fantastic read. I love how he brings the idea of God's to life and explores the worshipping we partake in in todays consumer driven society.
As always the worlds he creates come alive in often painful detail. The characters are twisted and relatable and the darkness is punctured with laugh out loud humour.
Quick, easy and enjoyable trek through modern mythology.

Probably One of The Weirdest
This is one of the weirdest movies I ever found myself watching and because of it I honestly cannot describe which parts were good and which parts were bad. The film was hilarious if you were looking for a bad rendition of the 80s going in but otherwise you just end up with a weird twisted 80s movie put to weird techno remixes made into musical vibing tunes.... Yeah definitely one of the weirder watches out there.

Blazing Minds (92 KP) rated Hangman (2017) in Movies
Nov 1, 2021 (Updated Nov 3, 2021)
So from the sound of Hangman starring Al Pacino and Karl Urban sounded great when I first read the synopsis for the movie, a decorated homicide detective Ray Archer (Al Pacino) partners with criminal profiler Will Ruiney (Karl Urban) to catch one of the city’s notoriously vicious serial killers, who is playing a twisted version of murder inspired by the children’s game Hangman. Every 24 hours, a body is hung revealing the next letter carved into the victim’s body.
