A Classic Read for Any Woman or Young Girl
A classic book every girl should read. The first book in series of three including Little Women, Little Men, and Jo's Boys. By far, this first book is the best. You become invested in the characters' hardships and struggles with poverty, family life, romances, sibling rivalries, and many other everyday things to whom anyone can relate.

A fun quick read. Sarcastic and a bit witty not afraid to make fun of itself. Set in Chicago and while it is "present day" i.e. 2000s up electronics and magic don't always get along, Harry at times lives like he's in the 1950s and older.
I found it refreshing that a character could have old fashion values but still for the most part, let a person do the things they need to.

"I beg people to read this book. He tells you about a sensibility that has ceased to exist. In this book you see what the status markers were within the homosexual community in this era. And the status markers were how much you knew, how smart you were, how cultivated you were. It had nothing to do with money – that’s not what status was about. There used to be competing values in this culture."
