I'm giving this one up; a DNF. I didn't like the style or the storyline. I couldn't gel with it and I found it really bizarre that Harlowe wasn't scared of the vampire. Any normal person would be whether they have a fascination with Ireland and vampires or not. Just too strange for my liking, I'm afraid.

I'm not much for action, but this had a lot of it and I enjoyed it. Despite being a vampire story, I felt like it was different from what I've read before, which made it compelling. Though action felt like the main theme, I was drawn in by the romance and was surprised by the emotions I experienced throughout.

Rewatching on E4 never gets old one of my favourite shows of the 20 years doesn't matter how many times I've watched the show never gets dull and have met many cast members over the years so there will always be an excuse to watch this no matter what

I read the vampire series years ago and loved them so I was keen to try this series too. I really enjoyed it, and had it not been for the crazy number of references to people feeling like they were going to pass themselves (in one chapter it was about 4 times!!) I wouldnhave given 5 stars!
